This role will play an important part in expanding brand awareness, generating pipeline, supporting sales and partner initiatives, and creating meaningful engagement with prospects and customers.

Position Summary

Virima is seeking a US eastern time zone-based Field & Events Marketing Manager to develop and execute programs that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline across target markets and accounts.

This role will own Virima’s event strategy while also supporting broader field marketing initiatives, including regional campaigns, account-based marketing programs, partner co-marketing, webinars, customer engagement, and sales-aligned demand generation.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on. You should be comfortable developing marketing programs, working closely with sales, managing events from concept through execution, and measuring the impact of those programs on pipeline and revenue.

This is an opportunity to help build and scale Virima’s field marketing function while maintaining ownership of a high-impact event portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Field Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and execute field marketing programs aligned with Virima’s revenue, pipeline, and market expansion goals.
  • Partner closely with sales leadership and account teams to identify priority regions, accounts, industries, and opportunities for targeted marketing programs.
  • Build quarterly and annual field marketing plans that combine events, campaigns, partner programs, webinars, and account-based initiatives.
  • Develop programs designed to create new opportunities, accelerate existing pipeline, and deepen engagement within strategic accounts.
  • Identify new regional and market opportunities based on sales priorities, customer trends, and industry activity.

Event Marketing and Execution

  • Own Virima’s strategy for trade shows, industry conferences, regional events, executive programs, webinars, partner events, and customer-facing events.
  • Evaluate event opportunities based on audience fit, strategic value, pipeline potential, and expected return on investment.
  • Manage end-to-end event execution, including sponsorships, booth planning, registration, vendors, promotional materials, shipping, staffing, travel, and on-site logistics.
  • Develop pre-event, during-event, and post-event engagement strategies designed to maximize meetings, leads, and pipeline.
  • Ensure a consistent and professional Virima brand experience across all event touchpoints.

Demand Generation and Account-Based Marketing

  • Partner with demand generation and sales teams to create integrated campaigns that support field and event programs.
  • Build targeted campaigns around strategic accounts attending key conferences or operating within priority regions.
  • Support account-based marketing initiatives through personalized outreach, executive engagement, direct mail, digital campaigns, and targeted experiences.
  • Coordinate campaign execution across email, landing pages, paid promotion, social media, webinars, and sales outreach.
  • Create programs that help sales engage key stakeholders throughout the buying journey.

Sales Alignment and Pipeline Development

  • Work closely with sales teams to identify target accounts, campaign priorities, meeting opportunities, and follow-up strategies.
  • Develop clear pre-event and post-event processes to ensure leads and opportunities are effectively followed up.
  • Provide sales teams with messaging, campaign materials, account insights, and event-specific enablement resources.
  • Help develop programs that accelerate active opportunities and increase engagement with buying committees.
  • Maintain strong alignment between marketing activity and revenue objectives.

Partner and Customer Marketing

  • Collaborate with Virima partners on joint events, webinars, regional programs, and co-marketing initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology, channel, and strategic partners to expand audience reach and create pipeline.
  • Support customer engagement initiatives such as user events, executive roundtables, webinars, advisory programs, and customer advocacy activities.
  • Work with customers and partners to identify speaking opportunities, success stories, and thought leadership opportunities.

Content, Messaging, and Campaign Support

  • Collaborate with product marketing and content teams to develop event messaging, presentations, booth materials, campaign assets, one-pagers, and sales enablement content.
  • Support speaking submissions, industry awards, customer presentations, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Repurpose webinars and event content into blogs, videos, social posts, email campaigns, and sales materials.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and positioning across field campaigns and event programs.

Measurement, Analytics, and Budget Management

  • Track and report on program performance including engagement, meetings booked, leads, MQLs, opportunities, sourced pipeline, influenced pipeline, revenue, and ROI.
  • Establish clear goals and success metrics for field and event programs.
  • Analyze program performance and use insights to improve future investments and campaign strategy.
  • Own field and event marketing budgets, including forecasting, vendor management, and spend tracking.
  • Maintain visibility into campaign calendars, event schedules, pipeline impact, and program performance.


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, demand generation, or integrated B2B marketing.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or technology marketing strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success developing marketing programs that contribute to pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Proven experience planning and executing trade shows, conferences, webinars, regional programs, and customer or partner events.
  • Strong experience partnering with sales teams on account targeting, campaign execution, and pipeline development.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking campaign and event performance.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot (preferred), or similar tools.
  • Ability to work independently and execute effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the United States as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing to IT, IT service management, IT operations, IT asset management, CMDB, or enterprise technology audiences.
  • Experience with account-based marketing and target-account programs.
  • Experience supporting channel, alliance, or technology partner marketing.
  • Familiarity with webinar, event management, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience developing executive dinners, roundtables, regional roadshows, or other high-touch field marketing programs.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into compelling campaign messaging and audience experiences.
