FedRAMP Project Manager

Location: Remote – US Work Model: Remote

About the Role

The FedRAMP Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering Hyland's FedRAMP authorization initiative and related government cloud compliance projects. This role works across Engineering, Cloud Operations, Security, GRC, Product, Legal, Finance, PMO, and external partners to manage project execution, schedules, dependencies, risks, budgets, and reporting. Reporting to the PMO, the FedRAMP Project Manager coordinates project governance activities, accelerator and assessment partner engagements, and delivery of milestones required to achieve authorization readiness and compliance objectives.

Here's What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, workbacks, and critical path activities; coordinate project execution across Engineering, Cloud Operations, Security, GRC, Product, Legal, Finance, PMO, and external partners; manage project dependencies, risks, assumptions, issues, action items, and decision logs
• Facilitate project status meetings, stakeholder reviews, steering committee meetings, and project governance activities; prepare executive dashboards, project reports, readiness updates, and decision support materials; maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, status reports, and governance records
• Coordinate readiness activities associated with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53 Rev. 5 implementation, GovRAMP initiatives, assessment activities, POA&M management, and authorization documentation; coordinate audit preparation, evidence collection, readiness reviews, and authorization package activities
• Coordinate activities with FedRAMP accelerator partners, assessors, cloud providers, and supporting vendors; track contractual deliverables, project commitments, timelines, and vendor performance; coordinate onboarding activities and project resource planning
• Track approved budgets, staffing plans, tooling investments, vendor costs, and project expenditures; escalate project risks, resource constraints, budget impacts, and delivery blockers in a timely manner
• Facilitate communication across project stakeholders, support resolution of cross-functional dependencies, and drive accountability for project deliverables and milestone commitments across all participating teams

Role Essentials

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; significant demonstrated experience as a Project Manager successfully managing cross-functional projects and programs; mastery knowledge of Project Management methodologies
• Significant expertise and experience serving in a consultative capacity; experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
• Excellent facilitation and project management skills; expertise in using Project Management and Change Management tools and methodologies; excellent skills with Microsoft Office tools in commonly-used methodologies
• Excellent oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact; excellent ability to develop and use engaging, informative, and compelling presentation methodologies
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills; excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners

What We'd Like to See

• Direct experience with GovRAMP, NIST 800-53, FISMA, CMMC, or related government compliance frameworks
• Demonstrated fiscal responsibility and accountability in managing project budgets; demonstrated success in effectively envisioning, developing, and implementing new strategies
• Excellent conflict management, interpersonal, and negotiation skills; excellent collaborative skills applied successfully within a team as well as across other areas of the organization
• Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective; able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Change Management certification preferred; sharp, fast learner with technology curiosity and aptitude; excellent business and technology acumen
