Develop, review, and adapt medical content for European markets to support product launch activities across various formats. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scientific accuracy, regulatory compliance, and cultural alignment for HCPs and patients.
We are looking for experienced European Senior Medical Writers to support product launch activities across key European markets. This role requires strong expertise in localized medical communication, with a deep understanding of regional language nuances, healthcare systems, and regulatory environments. The ideal candidate can translate complex scientific data into market-relevant, culturally aligned, and compliant content for HCPs and patients.
Key responsibilities:
Develop, review, and adapt medical content for European markets (Portugal, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Greece).
Support product launch communication including pre-launch, launch, and post-launch assets.
Create and localize content across formats (visual aids, slide decks, emailers, websites, brochures, patient materials, video scripts).
Ensure content aligns with local language, cultural context, and market expectations. Interpret and summarize clinical and scientific data into clear narratives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (medical, strategy, creative, digital).
Ensure scientific accuracy and compliance with regional regulations.
Participate in client discussions and provide market-specific insights.
Must have skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or related field with 5+ years experience in medical writing/communications.
Expertise in local market nuances (at least 1–2 of the listed target countries).
Proficiency in English and local European language(s) preferred: Portuguese, Dutch, German, French, Swedish, Danish, Polish, Greek.
Experience in content localization and adaptation for HCPs, patients, and consumers.
Experience in branded and non-branded pharma communication.
Familiarity with omni channel assets.
Strong scientific writing and storytelling skills.
Client-facing communication experience.
Nice-to-have:
Experience with EU regulatory guidelines (EMA, local codes).
Exposure to multilingual content workflows (e.g., Veeva).
