What We Do

Responsible for processing activities related to tax processes by ensuring that tax information is updated accurately and timely, working with the tax vendor to ensure the escrow account is being maintained accurately. ensure updates are processed efficiently and reviewing daily controls to ensure we are in regulatory/legal compliance.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

• Process escrow servicing functions throughout the loan lifecycle, from loan acquisition through ongoing servicing and servicing transfers.
• Monitor service delivery, productivity, and quality standards for tax processes.
• Process escrow-related documents and disbursements accurately and timely.
• Perform general escrow account maintenance
• Research and respond to internal customer requests and inquiries by evaluating relevant factors, resolving issues, and determining whether additional loans may be impacted.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements, including investor and state guidelines.
• Process and monitor departmental reporting requirements and workflows, ensuring reports and assigned work are completed accurately and on time.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations related to escrow servicing.
• Maintain accurate accounting of escrow disbursements.
• Conduct quality reviews, tax document reviews and verification of information provided by tax assessors and other applicable sources.
• Monitor service delivery and quality standards for Tax vendors.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

• Preferred Bachelors Degree
• 1+ years of experience working in a mortgage environment, preferably Mortgage Loan Servicing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

• Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Organized
• Proficiency in MSOffice, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Pay Range: $18.46-$24.62 Hourly

 

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
