Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a deep understanding of power system studies, arc flash evaluations, and applicable standards such as IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E.

In this role, you will provide technical leadership and field support to junior engineers and customers, ensuring the accuracy and quality of engineering models and reports. The ideal candidate is proficient in software tools such as EasyPower, SKM, and ETAP, and excels in clear communication and collaborative problem-solving

Key Responsibilities

  • Support junior engineers and customers in the field of power systems and arc flash analysis in a technical role 
  • Have expert knowledge of power system studies - arc flash evaluations, IEEE 1584, and NFPA 70E
  • Hands-on, daily use of EasyPower, SKM, and ETAP—creating and reviewing models, analyzing system scenarios, and producing client-ready reports with a high level of accuracy and technical rigor
  • Review all complexities of models and reports for accuracy (both one lines and scenarios)
  • Understand industrial and commercial power environments to provide technical support to clients, engineers and sales
  • Provide practical applications and solutions of expert knowledge to our clients
  • Provide support during non-standard hours for urgent questions and customer support (usually Tues-Thurs)
  • Frequent and clear communication between team members, particularly as it relates to supporting team members on site 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in power system analysis, arc flash studies, and electrical safety
  • Proficiency in one of EasyPower, SKM, or ETAP and willingness to learn other softwares with no experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when working with technical data and reports
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills and consistent follow-through on commitments
  • High integrity, strong work ethic, and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass federal background checks
