The EHS Compliance Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) administrative functions and ensuring accurate entry and maintenance of safety-related documentation within Ferrellgas systems. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to complete assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support and coordination for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across field operations to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Administers and maintains administration of the EHS management system by entering, maintaining, and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company and regulatory requirements.
- Prepares, formats, maintains, and distributes EHS materials and resources for field personnel.
- Assists with reporting and data analysis by generating routine and ad hoc reports, identifying trends, and providing information to support leadership decision-making.
- Coordinates with teams to support timely completion of safety initiatives, compliance activities, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Reviews Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) for all new hire candidates and evaluates Safety Performance History reports for prior DOT-regulated employment; communicates findings and recommendations to Field Management.
- Manages ongoing compliance for DOT-regulated employees, including MVR reviews, medical certification tracking, and timely follow-up on expirations or issues.
- Maintains confidential employee and safety records while ensuring the integrity and security of sensitive information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. 2+ year(s) of experience in propane operations, safety, compliance, transportation, or a related operational environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load.
- Ability to adjust and adapt to changes in work flow.
