Supports daily drug and alcohol testing operations by monitoring assigned communications, obtaining and processing documentation, maintaining accurate encounter records, and routing issues for timely resolution.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 11:00am - 7:30pm ET.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor the assigned Drug Screen inbox and respond to or route inquiries from clients, clinics, laboratories, donors, and internal teams according to established procedures.
Request and follow up on outstanding collection forms, results, and other testing documents; document each contact and next step in the applicable system.
Receive, organize, and enter testing documentation; check for completeness and flag discrepancies or potential collection-form errors for trained review.
Maintain accurate encounter statuses and records, route documents for verification or MRO review, and follow through on assigned work queues.
Support routine scheduling and coordination activity when assigned; escalate time-sensitive post-accident or reasonable-suspicion requests immediately to the designated owner.
Protect medical and personal information and follow applicable confidentiality and disclosure procedures.
Participate in assigned after-hours on-call coverage as needed, including mandatory shifts when volunteer coverage is unavailable; remain available to respond to work-related requests within 30 minutes while on call.
Assist with cross-coverage and additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Performs additional duties and assumes additional responsibilities as identified by supervisor for the efficient operation of WorkCare.
Qualifications: Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Post high school education in business, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
Knowledge or experience in drug and alcohol testing processes preferred; ability to learn documentation, encounter, and escalation procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with clients at all levels.

Organize competing priorities, communicate clearly in writing and by phone, document work accurately, and meet assigned performance goals.

Computer Skills
Competence with Windows, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and the ability to learn other software as needed.
Physical Demands
Requires sitting for long periods at a desk, use of a telephone and computer keyboard, and occasional standing, bending, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
The work environment is generally temperature controlled.
The at-home work area must be free from distracting background noise and meet Company IT, privacy, and safety requirements.
This position has an hourly pay range of $18.00 - $24.00 per hour. Final compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
