About the Role:

Plastpro, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated District Sales Manager to join our national sales team. This individual will be responsible for driving sales growth within their assigned territory by building strong relationships with dealers, builders, distributors, and independent reps. The role requires frequent travel and a hands-on approach to account management, sales reporting, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets by acquiring new accounts and growing existing customer sales.
  • Visit dealers/builders weekly and conduct monthly meetings with distributors.
  • Provide product knowledge (PK) and sales training sessions for customers.
  • Submit weekly sales and trip expense reports to HQ.
  • Travel to HQ and our Ohio manufacturing plant as needed.
  • Manage a monthly travel and expense budget, staying within a 15% variance threshold.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain a 6-week calendar of appointments and meetings.
  • Issue quotes, follow up on proposals, and manage pricing approvals.
  • Handle disputes, send samples/literature, and monitor market activity.
  • File weekly canvas reports detailing customer visits and potential interest.
  • Maintain distributor files and log all activity thoroughly.

 

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, customer service, or telemarketing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work independently.
  • Proficiency with digital tools such as laptop, mobile communication, MS Office, and CRM software.

Training:

  • Three-month onboarding with National Sales Manager and Director of Sales.
  • Training includes in-depth product knowledge, pricing, and company procedures.
  • Split between HQ and Ohio plant, with travel home every other weekend during training.
