Director, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

Drive Strategy. Influence Decisions. Deliver Results.

Ecore is seeking a strategic procurement leader with deep manufacturing experience who can identify opportunities, influence stakeholders, and drive measurable business outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who excels at analyzing data, presenting findings to leadership, facilitating critical business conversations, and leading cross-functional action plans.

This is more than a traditional people leadership role. We are looking for a coach and mentor who can develop procurement talent while partnering with operations, manufacturing, R&D, and executive leadership to implement sourcing strategies that improve cost, quality, service, and supply continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives that create value and reduce costs.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance improvement.
  • Analyze spend, market trends, and supplier data to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Present findings, business cases, and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor procurement team members to build organizational capability.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and lead initiatives from recommendation through implementation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and global suppliers.
  • Establish and improve procurement processes, metrics, and sourcing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of sourcing and procurement experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience coaching and developing teams.
  • Ability to influence decisions, drive accountability, and achieve results across functions
