The Director of Sales is responsible for prospecting and acquiring new mid-market and enterprise clients within the professional staffing industry. They will manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through contract execution and client onboarding.
Only candidates with proven staffing sales or recruiting experience will be considered.
This senior individual‑contributor role is focused entirely on new client acquisition within the professional staffing industry. The ideal candidate is a true hunter with a strong network, able to open doors with mid‑market and enterprise clients and drive significant revenue growth. This is not a people‑management role.
Prospect and acquire new mid‑market and enterprise clients in professional staffing.
Manage the full sales cycle from outreach through contract execution and onboarding.
Develop and execute a strategic business‑development plan focused on revenue growth.
Navigate complex sales cycles and influence decision‑makers across TA, Procurement, HR, and Operations.
Leverage an established staffing industry network to accelerate opportunities.
Build strong relationships with prospects, clients, and industry partners.
Identify opportunities to expand direct‑hire and contingent staffing solutions.
Collaborate with internal fulfillment and account teams to ensure successful client launches.
Attend industry events and conferences as needed.
10+ years of successful staffing sales or recruiting industry experience (IT, F&A, Engineering, or other professional verticals).
Proven track record of acquiring new mid‑market and enterprise clients.
Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding individual revenue goals.
Strong relationships within the staffing and talent ecosystem (TA, Procurement, MSP, CW).
Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
Strong hunter mentality and ability to independently generate new business.
Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Ability to travel 2–3 times per year.
Must reside in the United States.
Candidates with primarily healthcare or light‑industrial staffing backgrounds will not be considered.
