KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

OPERATIONAL OPTIMIZATION

  • Execute comprehensive end-to-end audits of fundamental operational workflows to eliminate friction, redundancies, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Engineer and deploy lean frameworks that minimize bureaucratic handoffs and approval layers while maintaining unwavering compliance.
  • Cultivate a relentless continuous improvement culture by integrating measurement systems that ensure rapid problem resolution and sustainable results.
  • Govern core operational KPIs and synthesize performance data into high-impact strategic priorities and executive-level guidance.

WASTE REDUCTION & PROCESS SIMPLIFICATION

  • Apply rigorous lean principles to dismantle non-value-adding activities across all support, fulfillment, and operational functions.
  • Standardize scalable procedures through precise SOPs to institutionalize agility and reduce dependency on individual tribal knowledge.
  • Challenge legacy complexity with a relentless bias toward subtraction, removing any step that fails to serve the customer or strategic mission.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to refine cross-functional workflows and eliminate operational friction between specialized teams.

TECHNOLOGY IMPLEMENTATION

  • Identify, evaluate, and spearhead the adoption of modernized operational tools designed to catalyze scalability and minimize manual labor.
  • Architect automation for repetitive administrative cycles—including reporting and routing—leveraging AI, RPA, and advanced workflow technologies.
  • Serve as the strategic product owner for the operational tech stack, driving the integration roadmap and ensuring high institutional adoption.
  • Champion rigorous change management and accountability structures to ensure every technological rollout delivers measurable organizational value.

LEADERSHIP & ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

  • Guide, mentor, and elevate a high-performance team of operations managers and analysts dedicated to operational excellence.
  • Act as a strategic cross-functional architect, aligning Engineering, Finance, and business units around unified operational objectives.
  • Advise executive leadership on operational strategy, resource optimization, and long-term capacity planning to support scaling efforts.
  • Promote an autonomous culture of high ownership, radical directness, and evidence-based decision-making throughout the operations function.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Minimum of 7 years in progressive operations, featuring at least 3 years in a high-impact leadership capacity.
  • Proven history of driving measurable organizational throughput, including significant cost optimization and cycle-time reduction.
  • Direct experience architecting and deploying modernized operational tech stacks, including ERP, CRM, and advanced automation frameworks.
  • Expert mastery of rigorous process refinement methodologies, specifically Lean, Six Sigma, or analogous efficiency frameworks.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with a dedicated focus on evidence-based decision-making and interpreting performance data under uncertainty.
  • Radical directness in communication, capable of synthesizing intricate operational hurdles into high-impact strategic guidance for executive leadership.

PREFERRED 

  • Demonstrated success navigating high-growth or transformative environments requiring the rapid orchestration of scalable infrastructure.
  • Professional certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) or a verifiable history of applying equivalent efficiency methodologies.
  • Technical proficiency with intelligent automation platforms, process mining software, and AI-enhanced operational tools.
  • Proven ability to architect or revitalize operations functions by recruiting, mentoring, and scaling elite organizational talent.
