Job Summary

ComPsych is seeking a proven and driven Director of Product Marketing to build and lead the product marketing function. This is a unique opportunity for a builder to shape the vision, structure, frameworks, and processes that will help clearly differentiate ComPsych as the leader in comprehensive mental health, well-being and absence management. This role will shape how ComPsych solutions are positioned in the market, develop the tools that empower sales and client success teams, and ensure the product story resonates with customers and prospects.

This position will develop go-to-market strategy along with leading the creation of all enablement tools while also setting the long-term vision for how this function will scale. Working in close partnership with Product Management and product leadership, this role owns the market-facing side of the product—how solutions are positioned, launched, and sold—complementing Product's ownership of what gets built and when.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish product marketing as a core function within the company distinct from product management with defined scope, best practices, and processes to enable effective go-to-market capabilities
  • Serve as the voice of the market to Product Management with timely commercials insight to inform roadmap priorities in partnership with product leadership.
  • Develop foundational assets such as messaging frameworks, competitive positioning, and product one-pagers.
  • Create a repeatable go-to-market model for product launches and iterate it over time.
  • Lead end-to-end product launch planning and execution to ensure new products, features, and enhancements achieve commercial success, market adoption, and internal alignment, including defining the launch strategy, goals, and success metrics in partnership with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Build sales enablement tools and conduct training sessions to increase adoption and effectiveness of tools and content.
  • Partner with sales and client success to develop a framework to support partnership enablement.
  • Translate product features into compelling value propositions tailored for different audiences.
  • Develop the tools and language needed to confidently explain pricing models to prospective and current customers, as well as consultants.
  • Establish a repeatable, scalable market research and competitive analysis process and maintain a central repository of insights accessible to cross-functional partners..
  • Own end-to-end product messaging and positioning by developing clear, compelling, and differentiated narratives that articulate the product’s value, connect customer pain points to product capabilities, and reinforce the company’s strategic story.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience, including proven success building or scaling a product marketing management function.
  • Hands-on operator with strong storytelling, positioning, and go-to-market expertise.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator with experience working directly with product, sales, and client success.
  • Proven ability to create foundational product marketing tools and scale them into repeatable processes.
  • Proven ability to support pricing and value communication in enterprise sales cycles
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use insights to influence strategy and execution.
  • Experience working in health care, employer or health plan services preferred.
  • Experience partnering with data science, clinical, or research teams to bring insights to market preferred.

Other Requirements

  • Consistent and reliable high-speed internet and workspace free from distraction, disruption, or noise is required
  • Ability to be present on camera during work-related trainings, meetings, and/or events
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a desk for prolonged periods while working on a computer

Compensation and Benefits

  • Full benefits package, including Paid Time Off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, robust EAP, wellness program, and much more
  • The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000 USD plus bonus. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, and scheduled hours.
