AI Summary

You will lead a team of product managers to define and execute the strategy for candidate screening, trust, and AI-driven evaluation tools. You will partner with engineering, design, and data science teams to align on priorities and deliver measurable improvements in screening ROI.

Your job

As a Director of Product Management for Candidate Trust & Evaluation, you will manage a team of product managers who collectively own screening: the portfolio that drives return on investment from the moment a candidate clicks the Apply button. That work spans screener questions, AI evaluation, candidate trust (including verifications and related signals), and automations such as AI Recruiter and automated interview scheduling.

You will set and continuously refine strategy for the domain, translating company and business-unit goals into a clear, coherent screening portfolio, and holding your team accountable for outcomes that improve screening ROI and ladder up to those goals.

You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and business leadership to align on priorities, resources, and sequencing across these products. You bring deep experience across AI, trust, and hiring automation, and you use that breadth to shape both what the organization bets on and how your teams operate. You will hire, develop, and coach product managers at every level, building career paths that grow senior ICs and future product leaders. Your leadership will ensure screening creates meaningful, balanced value for employers and candidates with aligned incentives that strengthen hiring outcomes over time.

Who you are

  • Set and continuously refine product strategy for a portfolio spanning multiple product areas and customer segments, translating company and business-unit goals into clear, sequenced priorities
  • Guide, coach, and develop a team of product managers — providing consistent feedback, supporting career growth, and building a healthy pipeline of future product leaders
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and business leadership to align on priorities, resource allocation, and sequencing of work across teams
  • Drive cross-team coordination for complex initiatives — anticipating risks, sequencing bets, and ensuring the highest-stakes work has the right support and guardrails
  • Define success metrics for the portfolio, establish mechanisms to track initiative progress and product health, and use data and experimentation to make informed decisions — building a team culture of rigorous measurement and continuous improvement
  • Ensure the portfolio creates value across multiple sides of the marketplace (job seekers and employers), with team incentives and strategies aligned to strengthen network effects over time
  • Build alignment with peers and senior leadership on strategy, investment decisions, and outcomes — and communicate results clearly to executive audiences

Who we are

  • Requires a minimum of 17 years of related experience; or a minimum of 15 years with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience.
  • Proven  technical capabilities; engineering & science backgrounds will be considered alongside product management backgrounds
  • Proven data literacy. Ability to navigate SQL queries (or similar) required
  • Proven experience overseeing and developing teams of product managers, including performance management, coaching, and career development for senior ICs and future leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to translate company and business-unit goals into coherent product portfolios with clear priorities and measurable outcomes
  • Deep experience across multiple products, platforms, or customer segments, with the ability to navigate commercial, technical, and operational complexity
  • Proven track record of cross-functional partnership with Engineering, Design, and Data Science to deliver high-quality products at scale
  • Solid analytical foundation with demonstrated experience defining success metrics, building measurement frameworks, and using data and experimentation to evaluate portfolio health, guide investment decisions, and drive iteration
  • Ability to align partners at all levels — from individual contributors to executive leadership — on strategy, priorities, and resource decisions
  • Experience designing how multiple products and platforms work together, with a demonstrated ability to identify shared capabilities that create leverage across teams
