AI Summary

The Director of Product & Data Strategy leads the roadmap, implementation, and operations of enterprise applications and data platforms. This role drives digital transformation by leveraging AI and analytics while managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.

The Director of Product & Data Strategy is responsible for the strategy, implementation, and management of enterprise business systems, AI products, and data platforms across the organization. This role ensures that enterprise applications, such as Salesforce, and collaboration tools operate securely, reliably, and at scale, while also driving a modern data strategy that enables analytics, reporting, and business insights.

This role operates with a product management mindset: treating enterprise applications and data platforms as internal products, owning their roadmaps, prioritizing based on business value, and driving measurable adoption and outcomes.

  • Run structured discovery with business stakeholders, interviews, journey mapping, and requirements workshops to validate needs before committing engineering resources.

  • Establish policies for data ownership, stewardship, and lifecycle management.

Innovation & Transformation - - - - -

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to transform business processes.
  • Lead modernization initiatives, including consolidation of data platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Technology & Innovation and other technology leaders to align enterprise systems with digital transformation initiatives.

  • Experience defining and tracking product or platform success metrics (adoption, quality, usage) and iterating based on outcomes.
  • Experience developing and executing a data strategy, including governance, quality, security, and accessibility.
  • Experience with data platforms and BI/analytics tools, such as data warehouses, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, and driving self-service BI adoption across business teams.
