The Information Technology Director provides strategic leadership and day to day direction for ASP Global Information Technology department. This position is a key leadership role for the ASP organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead definition of Information Technology strategy, architecture, processes, and future roadmap.
Work with VP, Operations to define departmental goals
Provide direction and support in the selection of key systems areas to include warehouse management systems.
Understand current and future business goals and ongoing Information Technology issues to ensure business success.
Oversee and lead the continued changes within the P21 ERP system.
Participate in cross functional initiatives to improve company effectiveness.
Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for business needs.
Assess 3rd party technology and services vendors and develop strategies for infrastructure and core application.
Provides leadership to IT personnel and define and set performance metrics for team.
Define and set IT application and infrastructure SLAs for business functions.
Onboard and educate users regarding network security, applications, end user computing and available tools.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years experience working in IT operations
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Experience with Epicor P21 ERP system.
Experience with Salesforce ecosystem, preferred
Experience with Microsoft Azure preferred
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and their integration back into ERP systems.
Experience in a global distribution and/or manufacturing setting preferred
Prior experience includes successfully implementing or restructuring an ERP system
Experience defining an IT strategy, roadmap and building an IT organization
Partnering the business leaders and executives to drive technology changes in an organization
Proven working knowledge of systems, security, networking, databases, and phone systems
Ability to quickly learn technologies and products
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
Firm grasp on IT leading best practices

Physical Demands:
Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed, may require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods during the day, reaching above shoulder heights, below waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the day. The position may require lifting heavy supplies and office materials. Travel up to 20% may be required.
