The Director, Neurodegenerative Disease (NDD) Market Development – Neurology & Infusion will support the growth of Siemens Healthineers’ Neurodegenerative Disease business in the United States, with primary responsibility for developing emerging customer segments outside Siemens Healthineers’ traditional hospital-based imaging channels.

Reporting to the Head of Neurodegenerative Diseases, NAM, this individual will focus initially on private and community neurology practices, memory clinics, infusion centers, research networks and other organizations participating in the rapidly evolving Alzheimer’s disease care ecosystem.

The role will develop new routes to market, identify scalable customer models and create qualified opportunities across the Siemens Healthineers portfolio while helping establish relationships with clinical stakeholders who may not historically have interacted with the company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute the NAM NDD go-to-market strategy for private neurology, memory care, infusion and other emerging NDD customer segments.
  • Identify, prioritize and develop high-potential accounts and networks based on patient volume, therapeutic activity, clinical-trial participation, referral patterns, imaging needs and market readiness.
  • Build relationships with neurologists, dementia specialists, infusion providers, practice executives, clinical research organizations and other stakeholders involved in Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis and treatment.
  • Develop scalable clinical and economic value propositions across imaging, diagnostics, molecular imaging, digital technologies and services.
  • Identify and address barriers to adoption, including capital requirements, reimbursement, workflow, staffing, imaging access and referral-network limitations.
  • Develop alternative routes to market where traditional Siemens field coverage is limited, including targeted demand generation, inside sales activity, strategic partnerships and referral-network development.
  • Define account targeting and lead-generation strategies and work closely with inside sales and marketing teams to drive consistent market activation.
  • Identify strategic partners and develop lighthouse models within private neurology, memory care and infusion settings that can accelerate NDD market development and be replicated nationally.
  • Support education and market-development initiatives with professional societies, clinical networks, conferences and key opinion leaders.
  • Evaluate emerging opportunities beyond Alzheimer’s disease and gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product strategy, evidence generation, reimbursement strategy and future business development.
  • Maintain visibility into the NDD opportunity pipeline and contribute to forecasting, KPI development and business-performance reviews.

Your expertise:

  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, life sciences, healthcare services, business development, market development or commercial strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, science, healthcare or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience developing new healthcare markets, channels or customer segments strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with neurology practices, infusion services, specialty care, pharmaceuticals, clinical research or decentralized healthcare delivery models is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of the Alzheimer’s disease diagnostic and treatment pathway, including emerging disease-modifying therapies, imaging, biomarkers and ARIA monitoring, preferred.
  • Demonstrated success building customer relationships and generating new business opportunities in markets where established commercial channels may be limited.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement and customer business models preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ability to operate effectively in an emerging market with evolving processes and limited precedent.
  • Strong ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation and executive communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the United States.
