Who We're Looking For
Marketbridge is seeking a Director, Marketing Analytics to advance the measurement, reporting, and analytics capabilities that support modern B2B marketing programs.
This role sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, media, digital analytics, marketing technology & operations, reporting, and measurement. The Director will help clients and internal teams establish the data and measurement foundations needed to understand marketing performance, identify meaningful trends and anomalies, and quickly surface areas that warrant deeper investigation.
The ideal candidate combines strong expertise in B2B performance marketing, web analytics, tag management, reporting, and measurement with a practical understanding of how marketing data is captured and moves across media, web, marketing automation, CRM, ABM, and business intelligence platforms and environments.
This role is not responsible for owning the client performance narrative or determining the strategic “so what” from the data. Instead, Marketing Analytics provides the reliable reporting, analytical evidence, trend identification, and investigative support that enables strategy, media, creative and account management teams assess and explain performance, identify contributing factors, and recommend what to do next.
Success in this role requires strong analytical judgment, technical fluency, curiosity, collaborative problem-solving, and a demonstrated ability to use AI and automation to improve the speed, quality, and scalability of analytics work.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Analytics partner to Strategy in the development of measurement approaches and KPI frameworks, providing guidance on data availability, technical feasibility, tracking requirements, and alternative KPIs where appropriate, then translating the agreed framework into actionable reporting, measurement, and technical requirements
Support B2B marketing performance analysis across paid media, web, CRM, marketing automation, email, and other ABM and demand-generation channels, ensuring teams have accurate and consistent views of campaign and funnel performance.
Surface meaningful trends, anomalies, correlations, and areas for deeper investigation across marketing data to accelerate the identification of potential insights and performance questions.
Partner with Strategy teams to support performance storytelling by providing accurate reporting, analytical evidence, trend identification, hypothesis validation, and targeted analysis, while Strategy retains ownership of the client-facing performance narrative and optimization recommendations.
Define and oversee web analytics tracking requirements, including event and conversion tracking, tagging plans, data layer requirements, taxonomy standards, consent considerations, implementation QA, troubleshooting, and ongoing measurement governance.
Provide expertise across web analytics and tag management platforms, including GA4, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, and related digital measurement technologies.
Guide reporting and dashboard solutions that bring together data from marketing, media, CRM, web, ABM, and other sources in a way that is accurate, scalable, and useful to internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with Marketing Technology & Operations, and client technical teams to define the data requirements and integrations needed for reporting and analytics, ensuring required data is accessible, reliable, and fit for analytical use.
Establish and maintain data quality and analytics QA standards that improve the consistency, accuracy, and reliability of reporting and measurement outputs.
Apply AI-enabled tools and workflows to Marketing Analytics, using AI to improve areas such as data exploration, anomaly detection, reporting, QA, visualization, analytical investigation, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
Identify, test, and operationalize AI and automation opportunities that improve the speed, consistency, scalability, and quality of analytics delivery while maintaining appropriate human oversight and data governance.
Collaborate with leaders and subject-matter experts across Marketing Technology & Operations, Strategy, Media, Creative, and other practice areas to design and deliver more robust and scalable analytics and measurement solutions for internal teams and clients.
Identify recurring analytics challenges and opportunities and bring an innovative, solutions-oriented mindset to improving tools, workflows, reporting approaches, measurement practices, and reusable analytical frameworks.
Serve as a trusted analytics advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, helping define measurement requirements, reporting approaches, analytical needs, and opportunities to improve marketing-data visibility.
Lead discovery and solution-design discussions for analytics and measurement engagements, translating business questions into clear reporting, tracking, and analytical requirements.
Develop and coach Marketing Analytics talent, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, career development, and support for continued growth in measurement, reporting, digital analytics, AI, and marketing performance analysis.
Support team resourcing and delivery quality across analytics engagements, helping ensure work is appropriately staffed and delivered against established analytical and technical standards.
Support new business and organic growth by contributing to analytics discovery, solution design, scoping, estimation, proposals, capabilities presentations, and client conversations.

Deep expertise in web analytics and tag management, including GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Adobe Analytics, with experience assessing measurement frameworks and defining tagging plans, data layer requirements, event taxonomies, conversion tracking, implementation standards, QA processes, and governance.
Experience working with data from major performance marketing and demand-generation platforms, such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta, programmatic/DSP platforms, 6sense, Demandbase, CRM (e.g. Salesforce) systems, and marketing automation platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo).
Strong experience developing marketing reporting and dashboard solutions using BI and visualization platforms such as Looker, Looker Studio, Tableau, Domo, Power BI or equivalent tools.

Ability to evaluate where AI can materially improve analytical quality, speed, and scalability while applying appropriate judgment, validation, and governance.
Strong working knowledge of SQL and an understanding of data integration, transformation, and automation concepts sufficient to work effectively with technical teams and interrogate data when needed.
Familiarity with APIs, ETL/ELT concepts, cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake, and modern data automation approaches is preferred; hands-on data engineering expertise is not required.
Strong understanding of marketing data quality, governance, tracking, attribution, and cross-platform measurement.
Ability to translate complex analytical and technical concepts into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills, with experience working with senior marketing, media, analytics, operations, and technology stakeholders.
Proven ability to work through ambiguous problems, identify practical solutions, and collaborate across disciplines to improve analytics capabilities and delivery.
Experience managing and developing analytics talent, including coaching individual contributors and supporting skill development.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with Strategy, Media, Marketing Technology & Operations, Creative, Client Success, and other teams.
