The Director of HRIS will lead strategic planning, project management, and team supervision for HR information systems to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency. They will also serve as a liaison with IT and vendors while maintaining system procedures to meet SOX compliance and reporting requirements.
Strategic planning and prioritization of HRIS requests and projects to meet department and organization goals and business objectives
Maintain data integrity and provide reporting information to a variety of stakeholders both internal and external on an ad hoc basis
Lead, manage, and performance manage a team of HRIS professionals
Lead projects which pertain to the HRIS system, such as maintenance, updates, implementing additional functionality and optimizing the current systems
Assure security of HR information through established security protocol
Serve as liaison with IT and other system vendors to ensure feed and data transmissions are accurate
Maintain system procedures and practices to meet SOX compliance
Establish systematic reporting calendar to ensure meeting all required reports
Compile or assist with acquisition of complex data reports, summaries and employee-based data as needed
Provide audit of system on regular basis to ensure data integrity

Equipment Used and Responsibility
Demonstrated skilled knowledge in HRMS database design, structure, and processes
Strong understanding of the logic applied in database design to extract data for reports, audit information, recognize and correct errors, etc.
Possess business acumen to be able to match requirements against system capabilities to provide quality deliverables
Detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy
Strong technical aptitude and comfort level accessing and navigating HR software
Advanced skills in Excel and MS office for preparation and presentation of reports
Ability to work in high volume, pressure environment
Self-starter with good organizational, time management, analytical and troubleshooting
Solutions oriented, good decision-making skills

Experience/ Education
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or technology-related discipline, preferred
12 plus years’ progressive HRIS experience required
5 plus years’ demonstrated experience in the design and hands on configuration of Workday HCM, including Compensation, Absence, Timekeeping, Talent, and Benefits modules, implementations, integrations, and complex reporting
10 plus years’ experience as a people manager/leader
Project experience in a technical or techno-functional role on one or more HR ERP implementations
