Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Park Street is building tools for the teams and agents that run alcohol beverage brands. This mid-level Design Engineer brings strong visual taste and frontend skills to that work, owning the design, prototyping, and delivery of high-quality interfaces across Park Street's web application and website. This role blends product design and frontend engineering and suits someone who is comfortable moving from concept to shipped software.

• Use agentic coding tools to design and build polished interfaces and interactions across Park Street's web application and website.

• Explore visual designs and interactions in design tools such as Paper, in working HTML prototypes, or directly in the codebase, choosing the right medium for the problem.

• Turn complex, data-heavy workflows into products that feel clear and intuitive without reducing their capability.

• Meet with users and internal teams to understand the problems and friction points in their day-to-day work.

• Use product data and user feedback to measure and improve what ships.

• Contribute to the evolution of Park Street's design system, components, and shared patterns as the product grows.

• Identify small improvements in usability, visual quality, and interface copy, and fix them proactively.

• Scope and manage projects with increasing independence, working with the Lead Designer to make sound tradeoffs that deliver on time without sacrificing quality.

• Share work early and often, seek feedback, and support teammates in a small, collaborative team environment.

• Document patterns and leave components, interactions, and code better than you found them.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

Required

• Professional experience designing and building end-to-end web applications and landing pages.

• A portfolio or work samples showing how your designs perform with real data, real browsers, and real users, including what you learned after launch.

• Demonstrated proficiency with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern prototyping and design tools.

• Comfort working with agentic or AI-assisted coding tools.

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in product design, UX design, or frontend development.

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred

• Experience with complex B2B or SaaS products.

• Experience with accounting, logistics, compliance, operations, or other complex business software.

• Experience designing data-heavy interfaces and reporting tools.

• Experience with APIs or agent-facing interfaces.
