Summary
This temporary entry-level role supports the organization's member database migration by maintaining accurate records, performing data cleanup, auditing large datasets, and ensuring data integrity as we transition systems. The position also assists with website resource and link audits, and source creation related to future database processes.
Responsibilities
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist with maintaining, organizing and updating member database records to ensure data accuracy, consistency and completeness.
- Perform data cleanup activities, including identifying duplicate, incomplete or incorrect records and implementing corrections according to established procedures.
- Audit and validate large datasets and spreadsheets, ensuring a high degree of accuracy when entering, updating, analyzing and reporting information.
- Review website content and online resources to identify outdated, broken or impacted links and coordinate updates with internal teams and vendors.
- Document database procedures, workflows and best practices through written guides, process documentation and training materials.
- Support staff training by providing written guidance on database processes, data entry standards and reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills required:
- Spreadsheet software (Excel)
- Word processing software (Word)
- Electronic mail software (Outlook)
- Presentation software (PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn and effectively use customer relationship management (CRM), database and project management.
- Other skills required:
- Associate's degree in information systems, business administration, data analytics, computer science or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience working with databases, CRM systems, spreadsheets or administrative operations.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data entry, data validation, auditing or data cleanup activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, formulas, lookup functions and data analysis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Data validation, auditing and cleanup experience.
- Basic database administration and reporting knowledge.
- Website content and link review experience.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.

The position is eligible for remote employment.
Benefits and Compensation
This is a temporary, part-time position expected to last approximately 20 weeks, working 15 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $24.00 per hour.
Hours
Work hours may be scheduled flexibly based on organizational needs and mutual agreement with the supervisor.
