About the Client

Our client is a U.S.-based marketing and data services company specializing in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry. They help insurance organizations leverage data and marketing solutions to improve their business development and customer acquisition efforts.

About the Role

This is a new position created to support the continued growth and maintenance of their insurance agency database.

We’re looking for a Data Entry Specialist to help maintain and expand an insurance agency database. You’ll be responsible for keeping company and contact information accurate, complete, and up to date so the team can effectively support marketing and lead generation efforts.

This role is a great fit for someone who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently. You’ll work with spreadsheets and CRM/database systems while learning insurance-specific terminology, classifications, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain insurance agency and agent information, including staff names, job titles, departments, email addresses, LinkedIn profiles, and affiliations.
• Add and update insurance-specific information such as tags, carrier affiliations, and SIC codes.
• Review existing records to identify missing, outdated, or inaccurate information.
• Research and correct data discrepancies to ensure database accuracy.
• Work with spreadsheets and CRM/database systems to organize, track, and maintain updates.
• Manage approximately 5–10 accounts per day, depending on the size and complexity of each account.
• Document updates thoroughly and follow established processes to maintain data consistency.
• Collaborate with the team when clarification is needed and continuously learn industry-specific terminology and processes.

Requirements

• 1+ year data entry or CRM experience.
• Ability to handle a heavy workload, including managing multiple accounts and detailed information while maintaining accuracy.
• Familiarity with insurance terminology and a basic understanding of insurance concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and a consistent focus on accuracy.
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Comfortable with repetitive, detail-oriented work.
• Strong technology skills and the ability to quickly learn new software, systems, and processes.
• Able to document information thoroughly and follow established procedures.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a U.S.-based team.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry.
• Experience working with CRM or database platforms such as Infor, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar systems.
• Experience with data auditing, database maintenance, or quality control.
• Familiarity with insurance agency structures, carrier affiliations, or SIC codes.

Benefits

• Monthly Salary: $1,200
• Remote position working with a U.S.-based team
• Schedule: Full-time, aligned with U.S. office hours in CST or PST
• Paid Time Off: 10 business days per calendar year
• Contractor payments processed twice monthly
