The Cyber Sales Engineer role is focused on a technical-commercial profile responsible for the early stages of the sales process. Key responsibilities include joining initial customer calls, delivering technical presentations, leading and executing POCs, and providing technical support to both existing and potential clients. The role also acts as a bridge between customers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in cybersecurity, can clearly explain complex technical concepts, works independently, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead high-impact technical engagements with CISOs, SOC leaders, and security architects
  • Own the full POC lifecycle — from initial setup to delivering clear business value
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers understand how PTBOX's product & services offering fits into their security strategy and workflows
  • Drive successful onboarding and evaluation processes in real customer environments
  • Collaborate closely with partners and consultancies to expand technical opportunities
  • Drive the direction of both products and services by translating real-world customer insights into impact for Product and R&D teams

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of experience in Sales Engineering / Solutions Engineering / technical pre-sales in cybersecurity
  • Proven experience leading POCs and technical evaluations with enterprise customers
  • Strong understanding of offensive security, attack paths, exposure management, or security operations
  • Excellent communication skills — with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for different audiences
  • Self-driven, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment

Advantages:

  • Experience with BAS, attack simulation, exposure management, SIEM, EDR/XDR, or cloud security
  • Experience working with cyber consultancies or channel partners
  • Familiarity with AI-driven security products, with the ability to explain AI capabilities in practical, business-oriented terms
