AI Summary

You will manage customer product questions and issues end-to-end while building integrations on the workflow engine to link with ERP, HR, and ITSM systems. Additionally, you will guide new enterprise customers through setup and translate their business needs into effective platform solutions.

Customer Solutions Engineer: English / German (B2)

About the role:

A product-based German Startup is looking for a Customer Solutions Engineer to join its growing team.

Defining Resource Lifecycle Management, think of an HR system that manages employees from onboarding to retirement – the platform does the same for everything they work with, from request and procurement to retirement of the asset. One platform that brings procurement, asset management, and IT operations together – instead of broken handoffs between a patchwork of tools. No Excel chaos, no ticket hell – just a smart, highly automated platform with workflow power and AI built in.

Working in a small Customer Success team, you are the person the customers call when they want to get more out of the platform. You solve their product questions, understand how their processes really work, and connect the product to their world by building integrations on our workflow engine.

What you'll do:

• Product support: Own customer questions and issues end to end – analyse, reproduce, solve or hand over cleanly to our platform team, and close the loop with the customer

• Understand the customer's process: Run short discovery sessions with IT, procurement and HR teams to find out what they actually need – and translate that into how equipme solves it

• Build integrations: Implement connectors and workflows on our workflow engine (REST APIs, webhooks, auth) to link equipme with ERP, HR, identity, and ITSM systems

• Guard the product: Help customers within our product guardrails. You suggest the standard way first, push back on one-off custom work, and feed recurring needs back to Product

• Onboard and enable: Guide new Enterprise customers through setup and go-live, and turn repeated questions into docs, templates, and reusable workflows in our library.

What you bring:

• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role – e.g., technical support, customer success, solutions engineering, implementation, or IT consulting in a SaaS or ITSM/ITAM environment

• A genuine service mindset: you like talking to customers, you speak up, ask the second question, and take ownership until the problem is solved

• Process thinking: you understand business processes (onboarding, procurement, asset lifecycle, service management) and structure them clearly

• Hands-on experience with workflow/automation tools (n8n, Power Automate, Make, Zapier, Camunda or similar) and REST APIs, JSON and common auth methods (OAuth2, API keys)

• Basic scripting skills (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python or PowerShell) are a plus – enough to transform data and build robust workflows

• You use AI tools deliberately to work faster and smarter

• Very good English, and at least good working German (B2) for customer conversations in the DACH region.

Your focus can vary:

Our team is growing, so nobody has to be perfect at everything. You might be a support pro who loves automating, or an integration builder who enjoys customer conversations – we balance strengths across the team. What matters is that you're strong in at least one of the three areas (support, process consulting, integrations) and willing to grow in the others.

This role is not for you if you're a pure business consultant who doesn't want to touch an API, or a hardcore developer who'd rather not talk to customers.

The offer:

• Real startup: real impact, short decision paths, no politics

• 100% remote within European time zones (we're based in CET/CEST)

• Flexible hours and top hardware of your choice

• Competitive salary – we talk about it openly and fairly

• Regular virtual and in-person team events.
