JOB PURPOSE

As Area sales Manager – Delta, you will be responsible for driving market growth and expanding Unilever Food Solutions presence across the entire Delta region. Reporting directly to Mostafa Mohamed Shawki (Regional Sales Manager - Alex &Delta), this role focuses on end-to-end management

of all food service channels and restaurant types—including Hotels, Key Accounts, Independent Restaurants, Cafes, Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs), Caterers, and Central Processing Units (CPUs).

You will identify high-potential business opportunities, execute customized sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share, build strategic relationships with key industry stakeholders, ensure flawless execution of sales and trade plans, and lead cross-functional culinary activations across key Delta hubs.

 

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

 

  • Territory Expansion & Strategy: Expand and penetrate all HORECA customers.
  • segments across the Delta region by implementing targeted commercial strategies and territory
  • growth plans.
  • Stakeholder & Account Management: Build, nurture, and maintain strong executive relationships
  • with key decision-makers, including Hotel GMs, F&B Directors, Executive Chefs, Purchasing
  • Managers, Restaurant Owners, and Franchise Chains across Delta.
  •  Market Analysis: Continually analyse regional market trends, operator needs, emerging
  • dining formats, and competitor activities to refine route-to-market and channel strategies.
  • Commercial Negotiations: Lead commercial discussions and negotiate highly profitable joint
  • business plans (JBPs) and supply agreements with key HORECA partners for sustainable, long-term
  • volume and margin growth.
  • Sales Activation &Trade Execution: Execute impactful trade initiatives, promotional campaigns, and
  • brand activations (e.g., Knorr, Hellmann) to maximize brand equity and share of wallet in
  • professional kitchens.
  • Performance Tracking  & Growth: Rigorously track regional sales targets, distributor performance,
  • and channel KPIs, dynamically adjusting field tactics to deliver top-line revenue and volume
  • expansion.
  • Operational Problem Solving: Collaborate with local distribution partners, supply chain, and culinary
  • teams to resolve field execution challenges and optimize delivery efficiency for operator partners.
  • Budget & ROI Management: Manage trade promotion allocations and channel budgets efficiently to
  • deliver optimum return on investment (ROI) and maximum gross margin.
  • Reporting & Account Analytics: Monitor account performance metrics, maintaining comprehensive
  • CRM records and delivering actionable weekly/monthly commercial reports to the Regional Sales
  • Manager.
  • Culinary Demonstrations & Penetrations: Partner with UFS Chefs to conduct impactful, solution-
  • driven kitchen demonstrations for key operators, converting key accounts to UFS product portfolio.
  • Menu Engineering & Yield Optimization: Lead menu engineering and recipe cost-per-plate
  • discussions with head chefs and commercial buyers to optimize product placement, taste, and
  • operator profitability.



WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in restaurant Management, specifically in the Horeca sector- Customer Development.
  • Proven experience in forecasting, planning, and activity management.
  • Demonstrated success in agreements negotiation and driving revenue growth.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on performance data. Selling Skills.
  • Results-driven attitude with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and drive business expansion.
  • University graduate (Business Major is a plus)
  • Delta residence is a plus.
  • Food & culinary passion is a plus.
  • English / Arabic is essential
