The role involves administering contracts and customer setups while partnering with supply and marketing groups to identify and resolve commercial transaction issues. Additionally, the analyst reviews pricing and contract data to ensure accuracy and supports commercial stakeholders through reporting and system utilization.
Provides support for the Contracts and Pricing department. Works under minimal supervision using established policies, procedures, and guidelines with latitude to use initiative and independent judgment. Apply general knowledge of contracts, pricing, and customer setup processes while receiving guidance on more complex matters.
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their manager, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.
A minimum of two years related work experience required.
Preferred Experience: Two years in the petroleum industry.
A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Preferred Education Level: A Bachelor’s degree in business or in a technical discipline.
Ability to apply advanced clerical and data entry skills to assignments based on pre-established guidelines. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products including but not limited to MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel. Strong working knowledge with the mechanics of a contract and pricing. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with others, both written & verbal communication, as well as basic understanding of computer use. Intermediate reading and writing skills and the ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations. Knowledge of trade locations and SAP navigation. Advanced ability to implement new systems and procedures and to evaluate their effectiveness.
