What we're looking for:

As our Social Media Content Creator, you will be the maestro of our brand's digital presence. Your canvas? All social platforms where your artistry in filming and editing will not just be seen—it'll be felt. You're not just creating content; you're creating an experience, crafting bite-sized pieces of storytelling magic that capture our essence and ignite our audience's excitement. 

To Succeed in This Role, You Need To:

  • Film and produce dynamic video content tailored for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging social media channels.
  • Edit content with a sharp, creative eye, ensuring every cut and transition is on-brand and on-trend.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, understanding the nuances of each platform and what content performs best where.
  • Engage with our community through the language of video, creating content that sparks conversation, shares, and likes.
  • Collaborate with the social team to brainstorm and execute content strategies that break the mold and set our channels ablaze with engagement.
  • Transform creative briefs into visually arresting content that tells a story and conveys our brand’s message in a thumb-stopping way.
  • Be an all-around social media savant, always eager to learn new skills and jump on the latest social media bandwagon.
  • Analyze content performance and iterate to continuously improve engagement and reach.

 

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience creating compelling content for social media, with a portfolio that makes us go "Wow!"
  • Expertise in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.).
  • A creative genius when it comes to shooting videos – you know your way around a camera like it's your third arm.
  • Deep understanding of social media formats and guidelines, knowing exactly how to make a video pop on each platform.
  • A trend-spotter and social media nerd – you live and breathe social media and are always on top of the latest memes, challenges, and viral hits.
  • Exceptional communication skills – you can explain your vision as well as you can execute it.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as autonomously with minimal supervision.
