Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Remote Scheduling Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to support business development efforts by providing input for proposals and participating in presentations, as required. 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provides guidance, direction, and support or assignments to projects and proposals for the need of scheduling. 
  • Manages a team of project control managers and staff who are scheduling SMEs.
  • Update policies and procedures related to scheduling practices, as necessary.
  • Coordinates staffing requirements, assigns and supervises project work activities, and trains personnel. 
  • Completes performance reviews and provides personnel development for the assigned employees.
  • Recommends and oversees the customization of project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
  • Supports business development efforts by providing input for proposals and participating in presentations, as required. 
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • Serve as the lead scheduler for the Federal GBU and provide technical guidance and best practices.
  • Manage LoadSpring access and a P6 license pool with Asset Management support.
  • Foster relationships with other GBU PCMs and Internal Mobility to fill temporary vacancies and pop-up needs.
  • Frequent travel may be necessary to fulfill client or proposal requirements.
  • Assists HR/Talent Acquisition team to recruit, technical interview, hire and onboard qualified personnel.
  • Mobilizes company resources, through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.

Key Responsibilities 

Project Planning & Scheduling 

  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in Primavera P6 and MSP across multiple projects using critical path method 

  • Collaborate with project managers and operations staff to establish baselines, milestones, and critical paths, schedule logic, milestones, and resource loading. 

  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates, variance analysis, and schedule impact assessments. 

  • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to communicate schedule performance to leadership and clients. 

  • Identify potential risks and delays, propose recovery plans, and support proactive problem-solving. 

  • Maintain historical schedule data for use in forecasting and future project planning. 

  • Support resource loading and allocation within the schedule to align manpower and equipment with project needs. 

  • Monitor schedule performance and recommend corrective actions 

  • Collect, interpret, and report schedule and cost data and utilize scheduling and project controls tools for cost and schedule analysis 

  • Prepare routine and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and performance metrics 

  • Support initiatives that improve project delivery and performance 

  • Recommend enhancements to scheduling accuracy and efficiency 

  • Support improvements to project controls processes and tools 

Requirements 

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in scheduling for construction or federal contracting operations. 

  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path method (CPM), and project controls. 

  • Experience supporting utility, construction, or infrastructure projects preferred 

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (required). 

  • Strong understanding of scheduling logic, resource planning, and cost integration 

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting 

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
