We are looking for a passionate Operations Associate to join our Community Impact team and make a difference. As a CI Operations Associate, you’ll play a pivotal role for Jewish teens. SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF   

As a CI Operations Associate, a typical day will include: 

 

Systems & Data 

  • Provide high quality and responsive customer service to staff, teen, and parent users of the myBBYO CRM in Salesforce and front-end website support. Timely answer to FAQs such as password reset, event creation and registration, scholarship application, and logging in.  
  • Produce data reports and insights that help field professionals manage programs and deliver results.  
  • Maintain technical documentation, directions, and checklists for staff use.   

 

Department Operational Efficiency 

  • Coordinate logistics for Community Impact meetings and events. 
  • Complete key administrative tasks required to operate consistently across the department. Examples: support related to scholarships, project-based roles, camp documentation, surveys, and regional compliance follow-up.   
  • Partner with CI leaders to streamline operations, identify resource gaps and develop/ roll out solutions.  
  • Oversee CI Microsoft ecosystem including Teams channels, Outlook distribution lists, SharePoint pages, and file organization.   
  • Support our volunteer advisor operations as needed. May include ordering gifts and Awards, coordinating recruitment efforts, tracking metrics, building community via chat and newsletters, creating slide decks and managing schedules.  

 

Policy & Planning 

  • Support annual planning design and process, including Community Hub templates, timeline, and distribution. 
  • Conduct annual review and auditing of CI forms, waivers, and compliance requirements.   

 

Financial Processes 

  • Manage regional financial activities in Salesforce including collection of unpaid balances, auditing for 3% transaction charge, ACH refunds, and reconciliation of event registration status.  
  • Support chapter financial processes including chapter bank accounts, cashless payments, and grant form completion.  
  • Assist with financial documentation and process improvement for CI operations.   

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT

  • Abilities: Experience with youth or teens is preferred   
  • Experience: 2-5 years of work experience; past exposure to BBYO as teen or staff is a plus   
  • Education: Associate degree or higher; or current graduate student
