Community Growth & LinkedIn Outreach Virtual Assistant

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive, creative, and tech-savvy Virtual Assistant to take ownership of the growth and development of a global online community within a human communication business.

The role combines community building, LinkedIn outreach and lead generation, content promotion, member engagement, website updates, and AI-enabled growth activities. The successful candidate will not simply wait for instructions. They will bring ideas, test new approaches, identify opportunities, and take ownership of driving the community forward.

Scope of Work:

Community Growth & Engagement

• Take ownership of growing and developing the Coffee Club community.
  
• Identify and implement creative ways to attract, engage, and retain community members.
  
• Develop ideas for community activities, resources, online sessions, interviews, and other initiatives.
  
• Encourage meaningful interaction and engagement within the community.
  
• Monitor community growth and engagement and recommend improvements.
  
• Research potential audiences, communities, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
  
• Help build a welcoming, inclusive, global community open to anyone interested in improving their communication skills.
  

LinkedIn Outreach & Lead Generation

• Conduct LinkedIn research and identify relevant individuals and potential community members.
  
• Build and maintain prospect/contact lists.
  
• Send personalized connection requests and direct messages.
  
• Develop and test outreach approaches while maintaining an authentic, human tone.
  
• Follow up with contacts and nurture relationships.
  
• Use AI and lead-generation tools to improve research, prospecting, personalization, and outreach efficiency.
  
• Track outreach activity, responses, and results.
  

Content & Community Promotion

• Help promote Coffee Club resources, interviews, events, and online sessions.
  
• Identify opportunities to repurpose and distribute existing content.
  
• Develop creative ideas for increasing visibility and engagement.
  
• Support social and digital campaigns designed to grow the community.
  
• Contribute original ideas rather than relying solely on AI-generated content.
  

Website & Digital Support

• Make appropriate updates and modifications to the community website.
  
• Test new ideas, pages, content, and functionality.
  
• Monitor website/community performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  
• Work with the team to ensure the online experience remains active, relevant, and continually evolving.
  

AI-Enabled Growth

• Use AI tools extensively to improve productivity, research, outreach, content creation, audience identification, and community management.
  
• Explore ways to automate repetitive processes and create efficient growth systems.
  
• Use data and available technology to measure results and make informed improvements.
  
• Develop practical AI-enabled workflows that can support scalable community growth.
  

Qualifications & Ideal Profile:

We are looking for attitude, initiative, creativity, and ownership as much as traditional experience.

Required

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  
• Experience or demonstrated ability in LinkedIn outreach, lead generation, community management, social media, digital marketing, or a related field.
  
• Comfortable using AI tools and learning new technology quickly.
  
• Strong research and online information-gathering skills.
  
• Creative thinker who can generate original ideas and suggest improvements.
  
• Highly proactive, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership.
  
• Able to work independently without needing constant direction.
  
• Comfortable testing, measuring, learning, and adjusting approaches.
  
• Organized and capable of managing multiple activities and priorities.
  
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
  

Preferred Background

• Marketing, business, communications, digital marketing, or a related academic background.
  
• BBA, MBA, marketing, communications, or similar educational background is welcome but not mandatory.
  
• Recent graduates with strong potential and relevant projects are encouraged to apply.
  
• Previous experience building a community, managing outreach campaigns, or developing a digital project is an advantage.
  

Extensive years of experience are not required. The key requirement is the right mindset: someone energetic, curious, creative, resourceful, and motivated to make things happen.

Candidates are encouraged to share examples of projects they have initiated, ideas they have developed, or work that demonstrates their creativity and initiative.

Tools & Technology:

The candidate should have a good working knowledge of AI and digital productivity tools.

The company is willing to invest in additional software where there is a demonstrated business need. Candidates should therefore be technologically curious and comfortable learning new tools quickly.

Access to company accounts, LinkedIn profiles, AI platforms, and other required systems will be provided where appropriate.
