Commercial Legal Counsel – Enterprise (US)

At Magnific, we’re looking for a Commercial Legal Counsel – Enterprise (US) to be a core part of the legal support for our fast-growing Enterprise business in the US.

This is a hands-on role with a clear mission: keep customer deals moving, from first redline to signature, in line with our global legal and compliance standards.

You’ll be the day-to-day legal partner to the North American Enterprise sales team, negotiating enterprise SaaS and AI-related agreements while also working on various corporate matters across the business.

You’ll report to the Assistant General Counsel.

Success in this role isn’t measured by the number of contracts reviewed. It’s measured by deals that close quickly, with the right risk balance and a sales team that trusts Legal as a strategic enabler.

What you’ll do

• Act as a day-to-day legal partner to the North American Enterprise sales team, supporting deals from first redline to signature.

• Draft, review and negotiate enterprise SaaS and AI-related agreements, including MSAs, NDAs and DPAs, working within our playbooks and escalation paths.

• Identify and work through AI/IP risk issues in customer contracts, including copyright, indemnification, content licensing and rights in AI outputs.

• Work on various corporate matters that arise across the business.

What we’re looking for

• Admitted to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction, in good standing.

• 2–5 years of professional legal experience (law firm and/or in-house).

• Hands-on enterprise sales experience: negotiating customer agreements, working directly with sales teams to close deals, and a solid command of commercial contract fundamentals.

• Ability to manage a high volume of deals in parallel, with sound judgment on what to resolve and what to escalate.

• Clear communicator who can explain legal risk in plain terms to non-lawyers.

Nice to have

• Privacy experience, such as negotiating DPAs or working with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and other privacy frameworks.

• Exposure to AI-specific contract issues, such as training data, output ownership and AI indemnities.

• Experience working with international teams or on cross-border deals.

• At least 2 years at a SaaS or AI company.
