If you’re confident picking up the phone, starting conversations with business decision-makers, and turning cold prospects into qualified opportunities, this is a chance to build your B2B sales career in a specialized technical industry.

About Us

HireHawk connects skilled professionals with career opportunities at U.S. and Canadian companies, helping build high-performing remote teams around the world. We believe talented people should have access to meaningful work regardless of where they live, with structured onboarding, clear expectations, and support from a globally distributed team.

For this role, you’ll support a new sales campaign focused on inspection and engineering testing services for commercial and industrial clients.

About the Role

As an Entry-Level B2B Cold Caller, you’ll create the first connection between the company and prospective customers who may benefit from its inspection and engineering testing services. Your goal is not to be a technical expert; it is to understand the value of the services well enough to start credible conversations, uncover needs, qualify opportunities, and move interested prospects to the next step.

You’ll speak with business owners, facility managers, property managers, operations professionals, maintenance teams, engineers, and other decision-makers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys measurable goals, can handle rejection without losing momentum, and wants to develop stronger B2B prospecting and sales skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build the top of the sales pipeline through consistent, high-volume outbound calling to targeted commercial and industrial prospects.
  • Start professional conversations with decision-makers who have not previously interacted with the company.
  • Introduce inspection and engineering testing services in clear business terms, focusing on preventive maintenance, facility safety, equipment reliability, risk reduction, and compliance needs.
  • Ask effective discovery questions to understand each prospect’s facility, challenges, priorities, timing, and potential service needs.
  • Qualify opportunities based on genuine interest, business requirements, decision-making authority, timing, and appropriate next steps.
  • Handle common objections confidently and keep productive conversations moving forward.
  • Generate qualified appointments and smoothly hand interested prospects to the appropriate sales or technical team member.
  • Follow up consistently across multiple touchpoints to develop opportunities that are not ready to move forward immediately.
  • Keep CRM or lead-tracking records accurate, including call outcomes, prospect details, follow-up dates, and lead status.
  • Work toward clearly defined activity and performance targets such as outbound calls, conversations, qualified leads, and appointments generated.

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in cold calling, outbound sales, appointment setting, telemarketing, or B2B lead generation.
  • Strong spoken English with clear pronunciation, professional phone presence, and confident verbal communication.
  • Comfort initiating cold conversations with business professionals and decision-makers.
  • Ability to learn a technical or service-based offering and explain its business value in simple, credible language.
  • Persistence in handling rejection, objections, and repeated follow-up without losing professionalism.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail when documenting calls, outcomes, prospect information, and next steps.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience using a CRM, outbound dialer, lead database, or similar sales technology.
  • Previous success qualifying leads and scheduling appointments for sales teams.
  • Experience prospecting for engineering, construction, commercial property, facility services, industrial services, inspection/testing, or other technical B2B services.
  • Familiarity speaking with facility managers, property managers, operations leaders, engineers, or maintenance professionals.

Benefits

  • Access to a $200K+ perk marketplace with discounts on 150+ services.
  • Option to withdraw up to 50% of approved earnings before payday.
