Clinical Development Specialist - Lymphoedema & Compression

Use your lymphoedema expertise to improve patient outcomes while building strong clinical partnerships across New Zealand.

We are seeking a clinically trained professional with expertise in lymphoedema management to join our Health & Medical team on an extended leave cover contract, ideally commencing in November 2026 and continuing through to the end of 2027.

This role can be based in any major New Zealand city, with regular travel required across the country. To support this travel, candidates should be located within convenient access to a major airport.

About the Role

This role combines clinical education, customer engagement and business development, providing an opportunity to influence patient outcomes while supporting healthcare professionals across New Zealand.

As Essity's clinical and commercial expert in lymphoedema management, you will also support our Compression and Advanced Wound Care portfolio. Working closely with clinicians, specialists, nurses and healthcare providers, you will help improve patient outcomes through education, evidence-based solutions and strong customer partnerships.

We welcome applications from physiotherapists, nurses, occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals with experience in lymphoedema management, compression therapy, wound care, vascular care or related clinical specialties.

What You Will Do

• Protect and grow Essity's lymphoedema, compression and advanced wound care business across New Zealand.

• Act as Essity's subject matter expert in lymphoedema management and compression therapy.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with lymphoedema specialists, clinicians and healthcare providers across New Zealand.

• Deliver education and clinical training to support best-practice patient assessment and management.

• Partner with customers to identify appropriate solutions that optimize patient outcomes.

• Grow Essity's presence within lymphoedema services through customer engagement, education and targeted business development.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and achieve business objectives.

• Use CRM and business insights to effectively manage your territory and identify opportunities for growth.

Who You Are

You are a clinically credible healthcare professional with a strong understanding of lymphoedema management and a passion for improving patient outcomes. You enjoy building trusted relationships with clinicians, educating customers, and identifying opportunities to deliver better care through innovative solutions.

You will bring:

• Clinical qualifications and experience in physiotherapy, nursing, occupational therapy, or a related healthcare discipline.

• Demonstrated training and experience in lymphoedema assessment and management.

• Strong knowledge of compression therapy and its application within lymphoedema care.

• The ability to confidently engage with specialist clinicians, healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders.

• Experience delivering education, training, and clinical support to healthcare audiences.

• Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities to grow and develop customer partnerships.

• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Previous experience in healthcare sales, clinical education, account management or business development will be highly regarded.

• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• A current driver's license and willingness to travel across New Zealand.

• Lymphoedema Physiotherapist

• Physiotherapist with lymphoedema training and certification

• Registered Nurse with lymphoedema management experience

• Clinical Educator within compression or lymphatic care

• Healthcare Sales Specialist within wound care, compression or related clinical fields
