Position Overview

The Client Relations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the success, satisfaction, and retention of Ascension Business Solutions’ client partnerships. This role serves as the primary point of contact for client communication, facilitating collaboration between clients and ABS teams while ensuring that service delivery meets established expectations.


The Client Relations Specialist proactively manages client relationships, addresses concerns, coordinates service updates, and escalates operational issues when necessary. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to ensure that both clients and internal teams remain aligned.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and ABS, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Schedule and facilitate regular client check-in meetings to monitor satisfaction, address concerns, and strengthen partnerships.
  • Ensure clients remain informed of service updates, operational changes, or new ABS initiatives.
  • Maintain professional and proactive communication with clients via email and scheduled meetings.


Client Onboarding Support

  • Monitor the Match List and follow up with clients who have signed agreements but have not submitted their RFII (Role & Function Information Intake).
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding transitions.
  • Participate in Meet & Greet sessions and support the onboarding process between clients and assigned VAs.


Issue Resolution & Escalation Management

  • Mediate communication between clients and assigned team members when performance or communication concerns arise.
  • Identify operational or service issues early and propose actionable solutions.
  • Escalate unresolved concerns to senior leadership when appropriate, ensuring proper documentation and context.


Client Success & Retention

  • Maintain ongoing oversight of active client relationships to ensure service continuity and satisfaction.
  • Gather client feedback and collaborate with internal teams to implement improvements.
  • Help identify potential risks to client relationships and proactively work toward resolution.


Client Records & Administrative Management

  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, service updates, and concerns.
  • Record and update Client End of Service dates in the ABS Calendar.
  • Prepare and send Termination Notices when required following client discussions.
  • Generate and distribute daily and weekly operational reports related to client accounts.


Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, Recruitment, Training, and Leadership teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
  • Communicate client feedback internally to support continuous improvement initiatives.
    Assist in coordinating internal responses to client escalations or service requests.
