About the role
Nerdio has an incredible opportunity for a hard-charging, rigorous, "learn it all" individual to partner closely with our President and Co-Founder. This is a front-row seat to how a fast-growing software company actually gets run. You will help drive and implement the biggest decisions in our GTM organization and be in a role with significant accountability and visibility into your decisions.
As Chief of Staff, GTM, you will own the rhythm of the business for Nerdio's entire Go-To-Market organization. The operating cadence, the metrics, the meetings and the follow-through that keep a fast-moving team pointed at the same goals. You'll prepare for and advise on our most important customer and partner engagements. You'll also work hand in hand with Revenue Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Sales leadership to make the whole GTM engine run better.
You will report to Nerdio's President and GTM leader. Your job is to turn strategy into focused priorities, processes that scale, and results we can measure. You'll be a core member of the GTM team’s Leadership Team and will work to get leaders aligned and clear out whatever is slowing us down across the customer journey. Removing friction and speeding up processes needs to be your superpower.
The ideal candidate loves figuring things out and crossing items off lists. You dig into a messy situation, form a point of view, and walk in with a clear recommendation for a senior leader. If you want to learn how to run a company by helping run one, this is the job.
This is a demanding, high-impact role that requires exceptional commitment, flexibility, and responsiveness to the evolving priorities of the President and the GTM organization. The hours are long, and your schedule will often follow the President's. The trade-off is worth it. In a few years you'll pick up more than most people learn in ten and you'll come out ready to run something big yourself.
What you'll do
- Rhythm of the business for GTM: leadership meetings, MBR/QBR, AOP Planning cycles, operating cadence, executive business reviews, and additional internal meetings that keep the organization focused, aligned, and accountable.
- GTM planning, strategic initiative execution, and follow-through and accountability on commitments made in leadership meetings.
- Commercial and customer meeting preparation, including acting as a strategic advisor ahead of and following key customer, partner, and executive engagements.
- Business insights, Sales Opex, budget partnership, and decision support for GTM leadership.
- Internal GTM operations, partnering with HR, Finance, Revenue Operations, and IT to optimize rhythm of business, resourcing, and performance.
- Process, systems, and AI-enabled improvements that help GTM teams operate with greater focus, speed, and accountability.
- Tracking all follow ups and actions for the President.
Success in This Role
Success will be measured by the clarity of GTM priorities, effectiveness of cross-functional execution, the ability to build scalable operating practices that support Nerdio's next stage of growth and the speed by which you can process and get things done. Additionally, success will be measured on the President’s ability to focus time and attention on the highest-leverage priorities for Nerdio.
Your Partnership with the President
- Drives the President's staff/leadership meetings, capturing decisions and action items, then owns follow-up and accountability for commitments made there, holding leaders to agreed actions and timelines.
- Owns the internal GTM meetings and operating cadence (e.g., leadership meetings, business reviews, planning sessions): sets the agenda, prepares the materials, runs the meeting, and drives follow-through.
- Prepares the President for commercial and customer engagements and serves as a strategic advisor on them: synthesizing account and pipeline context, framing key asks and risks, and following up on commitments afterward. Some travel will be required to accompany the President to customer and partner engagements.
- Acts as a filter/prioritizes what reaches the President's desk; helps manage executive time and focus (the "business manager" piece).
- May represent the President in certain forums when he isn't in the room.
- Operates with a high degree of discretion and trust - will be exposed to confidential strategy, people, and performance information.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive GTM operations strategy aligned with our overall business objectives. Work with executive leadership to make sure our strategy and annual plan are integrated and drive the success of the organization. Build trust with GTM leadership.
- Cross Functional Partnership: Work closely with Finance, HR, IT, Revenue Operations, and other GTM teams to keep everyone aligned and collaborating well. Build processes that improve communication and coordination between departments and foster a culture of collaboration and efficiency.
- Revenue Insights & Accountability: Partner closely with Revenue Operations to maintain visibility into pipeline e health, sales execution, and partner sales contribution on behalf of the President. Surface risks, gaps, and opportunities early. Translate these insights into recommendations for GTM leadership, driving accountability, and follow through on agreed actions.
- AI and Technology Enablement: Act as the President’s connective tissue with Business Systems and IT on the GTM technology roadmap, helping inform where AI and automation could improve GTM productivity, forecasting and customer journey visibility, and championing pilots led by those functions.
- Performance Metrics: Partner with GTM LT to establish KPIs and metrics that measure the effectiveness of GTM. Report regularly on performance and give the executive team the insight they need to make good decisions.
How You'll Live Our Values in This Role

- Have Fun: Create space for curiosity, craftsmanship, and practical experimentation while keeping the organization focused on outcomes. Model the belief that serious work and a positive team culture can reinforce each other.
