VECKTA is an onsite energy intelligence platform and procurement marketplace, connecting buyers with suppliers of turn-key projects, capital, equipment, and services to deploy onsite energy systems at commercial and industrial sites. Our team is a diverse group of global leaders passionate about accelerating distributed energy deployment and maximizing value for business leaders and real estate asset owners. We're scaling the operating engine that turns intent into megawatts deployed.

About the Role

This is the high-leverage seat in the company, as Chief of Staff, you'll be a force multiplier to the CEO, running the operating system that keeps VECKTA's leadership team aligned, accountable, and moving fast, while owning the board and investor rhythm and managing special projects.

We are hiring for raw horsepower, not a résumé. If you're early in your career or seasoned and lookign to have an impact to a rapidly growing company, and are elite, hungry, fast, relentlessly organized, and allergic to things falling through the cracks, this is a rare chance to sit beside a founder-CEO, see every part of a scaling company, and build the machine the rest of VECKTA runs on. You'll start by owning our cadence and have the potential to grow into owning the ops/PMO function outright.

What You'll Do

• Run the operating cadence. Own our company operating system end to end: leadership meetings, rocks and KPIs, scorecards, and ruthless follow-through on every commitment made.
• Own the board and investor rhythm. Drive board prep, investor updates, the data room, and the reporting cadence our investors expect. 
• Multiply the CEO. Prep Gareth for every meeting that matters, draft comms, protect his time and priorities, and make sure the most important thing is always the thing getting done.
• Build the ops/PMO function. Stand up the processes, tooling, and team that turn strategy into execution across the company.
• Parachute into what's broken. Take on the cross-functional problems that don't have an owner yet, run them to ground, and hand off a working system.

• What leadership decides actually happens, on time and without the CEO chasing it.
• Board and investor materials are sharp, early, and consistent, and the CEO walks into every board meeting fully prepped.
• CEO time goes to the highest-value work because you're catching, prioritizing, and clearing everything else.
• The operating system you build holds as we grow, and we don't re-invent it every quarter.

Who You'll Work With

You'll work directly with the CEO daily, and partner with the entire leadership team across GTM, Product, and Operations to keep us aligned and accountable. You'll interface with our board and investors on reporting and prep. You sit at the center of the company and see all of it.

Qualifications and Experience

Must-haves:

• A raw huger, passion and talent and a track record of outperforming, wherever you've been
• Exceptional organization and follow-through. You run complex, multi-threaded work without dropping a thing
• A strong, clear communicator who can write, synthesize, and hold a room
• Relentless ownership. You run toward ambiguity and problems without owners
• Comfort with pace and change in a remote-first environment

Bonus points:

• Exposure to startup, consulting, banking, or other high-intensity operating environments
• Familiarity with EOS systems, board reporting, or project management tooling
• Interest in energy, climate, or infrastructure

Remote-First

VECKTA is a remote-first company with team members across the Americas. We bring the team together periodically for company "summits," typically on the US West Coast. Expect periodic travel for summits, board meetings, and time with me and the leadership team.
