 What You’ll Do:

The Operations Specialist partners with operations management to drive operational success. A Parts Operation Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the flow of parts within an organization. This professional is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of parts, from procurement to distribution, ensuring efficiency and accuracy at every stage. Their duties involve maintaining inventory levels, tracking shipments, and coordinating with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of required components. The Parts Operation Specialist collaborates closely with various department levels, such as procurement, logistics, and maintenance, to streamline processes and minimize downtime. Additionally, they may utilize inventory management systems to track stock levels, analyze trends, and make informed decisions to enhance overall operational effectiveness. In essence, a Parts Operation Specialist is a key player in ensuring that the right parts are available at the right time, contributing significantly to the smooth functioning of the organization's processes.

 

Job Duties:

  • Supports a culture of Safety through reporting, training support and maintaining records
  • Ensures vendors are paid timely and accurately utilizing Docuphase
  • Monitor and review accounting schedules to provide training and quality assurance within Parts accounting processes
  • Reconciles payments daily for Parts Department
  • Provides reporting and metrics to Parts Management supporting strategic goals
  • Process and support Parts Staff payroll
  • Develop process and policies to continuously improve the Parts Department operations
  • Willing and able to contribute to strategic projects within the Parts Department

 

 Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience as a billing Clerk or similar role is a plus
  • Point of sales systems experience preferred
  • Basic Accounting knowledge preferred
  • Proficient in remote working tools (Zoom, file sharing, etc)
  • Well-developed organizational skills
  • Inventory control experience a plus
  • Coaching and/or mentoring skills
  • Great time-management skills
  • Experience supporting/leading projects and working with lean methodologies
  • Heavy-Duty truck experience preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed for the business

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to take and pass background check and drug screening.

 

Compensation:

  • $20-$25/hr. based on skills and experience
