Central Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary

The Central Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for establishing and maintaining business-wide centralized reporting, metrics, and KPI dashboards across the organization. Working in close, collaborative partnership with department leads, this role identifies key data requirements, constructs robust data architectures and models, and builds standardized reports. Beyond generating dashboards, the Analyst will analyze complex data sets to deliver actionable business insights and strategic recommendations that support cross-departmental operational goals and executive decision-making.

Job Duties

• Centralized Reporting & Dashboards: Design, build, and maintain centralized corporate dashboards to report on business-wide KPIs to the Senior Management Team (SMT) on a routine cadence.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with team leads across the organization (e.g., Support, Sales, PMO, Product Management, Finance and Strategic Enablement) to understand their operational requirements, gather analytical needs, and deliver tailored data insights.
• Data Architecture & Modeling: Design, build, and optimize foundational data pipelines, models, and architecture to integrate disparate internal systems (e.g., Zendesk, Smartsheet, financial platforms, HubSpot) into a normalized single source of truth.
• Insight Generation & Strategic Guidance: Continuously analyze performance data to identify trends, operational bottlenecks, and efficiency gains; present clear, data-backed business recommendations directly to stakeholders and leadership.
• KPI Standardization: Establish and enforce standardized data definitions, metrics, and collection methods across all functional areas to ensure organizational alignment.
• Data Quality & Governance: Maintain strict data hygiene, integrity, and validation processes to ensure all corporate analytics remain reliable and accurate.

Job Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data engineering (Healthcare IT, Software, or SaaS experience preferred).
• Hands-on experience building central enterprise dashboards, data models, and database pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or related technical field required.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, database design, and ETL/pipelining concepts.
• Advanced expertise in modern BI and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex datasets into business-oriented recommendations and clear executive narratives.
• Experience integrating data from software tools like Zendesk, Smartsheet, CRM/HubSpot, Jira and ERP/financial software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
• Self-starter mindset with strong organizational, timeline, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to data accuracy.

Work Conditions

• Extended periods of sitting and desktop computer operation.
• Working in a remote environment with frequent cross-departmental interaction.
• Occasional travel may be required for team planning or corporate review meetings.
