Job Profile Summary
This role helps advance the organization’s enterprise analytics capabilities by translating business needs into scalable, secure, and actionable analytics solutions. The position is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting analytics products, semantic models, dashboards, automated reporting, and data solutions that enable leaders and teams to make timely, informed, and trusted decisions.
Beyond report creation, this role will help build the analytics foundation for the organization by connecting data, improving usability, strengthening governance, and enabling a maturity path from static reporting to interactive, governed insight generation. The future state is not simply more dashboards, but a trusted analytics environment where users can safely explore data, ask better questions, leverage Microsoft analytics capabilities, including Copilot where appropriate, and generate appropriate insights with the right governance, security, education, and support. Success in this role requires technical capability, business curiosity, creativity, collaboration, adaptability, sound judgment, self-motivation, and a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and demonstrated capability.
- Three to five years of experience in business intelligence, analytics development, data engineering, reporting, or a related technical discipline preferred; candidates with demonstrated analytical aptitude, business understanding, learning agility, and ability to develop new technical capabilities should also be considered.
- Experience in hospice, post-acute care, healthcare operations, or internal organizational analytics is highly valued, particularly when paired with strong analytical aptitude, business context, and demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technical capabilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric capabilities, including data modeling, semantic models, dashboards, reports, dataflows, gateways, Power BI Service, and related Microsoft analytics tools.
- Experience with SQL, data integration, data transformation, APIs, cloud or relational data sources, and automation tools preferred.
- Ability to partner with operational, clinical, financial, and technology stakeholders to understand business needs, ask thoughtful questions, and translate priorities into analytics solutions.
- Self-motivated learner with demonstrated initiative in developing AI, automation, data visualization, and analytics skills, and applying those capabilities to improve workflows, insights, outcomes, or user experience.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and willingness to continuously learn new tools, methods, and business domains.
- Ability to participate in the Enterprise Technology & Services (ET&S) On-Call rotation.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and support enterprise analytics solutions that turn complex business needs into clear, trusted, and actionable insights.
- Develop scalable semantic models, dashboards, reports, dataflows, and automated solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and related tools.
- Partner with business users to understand workflows, decisions, pain points, and opportunities where analytics can improve outcomes, efficiency, quality, experience, or resource utilization.
- Promote governed self-service analytics by enabling users to explore trusted data, interact with analytics tools, and generate appropriate insights within an enterprise framework for security, data quality, and responsible use.
- Help mature the organization’s analytics ecosystem from static reports and one-off reporting requests toward governed self-service analytics, interactive exploration, AI-enabled insight generation, predictive indicators, and prescriptive recommendations over time.
- Strengthen data trust by supporting data quality, governance, standard definitions, security, access controls, documentation, and responsible use of analytics.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve reporting and analytics processes across the enterprise.
- Take initiative to evaluate, learn, and apply emerging analytics capabilities, including Microsoft Fabric, AI-enabled analytics, automation, and advanced visualization approaches, in practical ways that improve decision-making, operational performance, efficiency, quality, or user experience.
- Serve as a collaborative analytics partner who demonstrates curiosity, accountability, sound judgment, and a commitment to helping users make better decisions with data.
Compensation Pay Range:
$85,270.05 - $133,234.45
