ABOUT THE ROLEWe’re looking for a hard-working and friendly Business Development (Sales) Representative with exceptional sales know-how, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and securing partnerships to close new clients for our agency. You will play a key role in building relationships with potential clients, generating new sales opportunities, and passing on qualified leads for our team to close. This role will start out on a part-time, commission-basis, with the intention of transitioning to full-time (assuming strong performance).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, research, and reach out to potential customers, engaging with prospects to understand their needs and qualify them as potential customers
- Outbound Outreach: Develop and execute personalized outreach strategies to connect with key decision-makers
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and update CRM records with lead activity, interactions, and progress
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align outreach efforts and optimize lead conversion
- Relationship Building: Conduct follow-ups with prospects to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and customer pain points to tailor sales messaging effectively
- Perform ad hoc administrative, business operations, and special project tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 3+ years in sales or business development (preferably for a staffing or recruiting agency)
- Professional written and verbal fluency in English
- Outstanding sales knowledge, interpersonal problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Permanent access to a computer with reliable and high-speed Internet connection
- Previous experience working the overnight/graveyard shift
