Manage the day-to-day administration, compliance, and strategic growth of GWAC and IDIQ contract vehicles. Conduct market analysis and business intelligence to drive revenue and support task order responses.
Overview
We are hiring a Business Development Manager with a relevant combination of education and experience in federal government contracting, conducting research, business intelligence and market analysis, and a solid understanding of the business development lifecycle. In this position, you are responsible for the day-to-day management, compliance, and strategic growth of our GWAC and IDIQ contract vehicles. The ideal candidate combines strong federal contracts knowledge with task management skills to drive revenue through our government contract vehicles. This role supports the Director of the Agile Acquisition Service Center within the Business Development Division.
Responsibilities

- Managing multiple contract vehicles, maintaining compliance and performance standards
- POC for the administration and management of task orders under our contract vehicles
- Monitoring GWAC/IDIQ portals for new task order releases, RFIs, and amendments
- Responding to market research with a coordinated effort across company stakeholders
- Conducting research requests to assist in capture efforts during bid assessment
- Supporting task order responses with capture managers, proposal leads, and contracts
- Managing monthly reports for active task orders as required
- Analyzing target customer sectors aligned with our growth strategy and BD priorities
- Conducting business intelligence and market analysis pertaining to our contract vehicles
- Automating repetitive workflows to increase efficiency in the task order lifecycle
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years’ experience in government contracting or a similar industry
- Experience with federal GWAC and IDIQ contract vehicles
- Proficient in using standard IT equipment and software such as Microsoft Office 365 tool suite
- Internet savvy with the ability to conduct research and analysis using AI
- Active DOD Secret clearance
- A desire to learn new skills, be proactive in supporting the business development team, and work collaboratively across the organization to meet company growth goals
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $110,000.00/Yr. - USD $176,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
