Business Development Executive

At Gallagher, we’re looking for a Sales Development Executive to join our Housing Division in Chelmsford. This is your chance to help drive new business growth and build strong relationships with Housing Associations across the UK. You’ll be part of a supportive team that’s passionate about delivering tailored insurance solutions.

In this role, you’ll work on identifying and developing new business opportunities with Housing providers. You’ll help clients understand their insurance needs and deliver solutions that work for them. You’ll also play a key role in preparing tender submissions and presentations, showcasing Gallagher’s expertise and commitment to the Social Housing sector.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Broking, Placement, and Marketing to ensure we deliver the best possible service. By building strong relationships with clients and partners, you’ll help us maintain our reputation as a trusted advisor in the industry.

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

• Experience in sales or business development, ideally in insurance, risk management, or the Housing/public sector.
• A good understanding of tender processes and social housing risk profiles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• A collaborative approach and a passion for building relationships.
• A desire to learn and grow in your career.
