The Business Development Manager will lead growth efforts by identifying new opportunities and building strategic relationships with key industry stakeholders across assigned territories. They will collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
The Business Development Manager will lead and drive business development efforts for our construction products and services across key markets in Texas, the Midwest, and the Southeast, with a focus on revenue growth, market expansion, and developing long-term customer relationships.
This remote role requires a proven construction sales and business development professional with an established network of contractors, developers, owners, architects, engineers, and other industry stakeholders. The Business Development Manager will identify new business opportunities, understand customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and build strategic relationships across the assigned territories.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the construction industry and established relationships within one or more of these key markets, with the ability to expand the company's presence across multiple states.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of sales or business development experience in the construction industry or a closely related sector.
Proven track record of generating new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong knowledge of construction products, services, and market dynamics.
Established relationships within the construction industry in Texas, the Midwest, and/or the Southeast.
Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel throughout the assigned region as needed.
Experience developing business across multiple states.
Established network of contacts with contractors, developers, owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and other construction industry professionals.
Experience selling construction products, building systems, engineered solutions, or related services.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Experience developing and executing regional business development strategies.
Existing relationships in key markets across Texas, the Midwest, and/or the Southeast.
Advanced degree or certifications related to sales, business, or construction management.
Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives across Texas, the Midwest, and the Southeast.
Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities within target markets and customer segments.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, contractors, developers, owners, architects, engineers, and other industry stakeholders.
Leverage existing industry relationships and develop new networks to expand the company's market presence.
Research market conditions, industry trends, and competitive activity to identify new opportunities.
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurately track opportunities through the CRM.
Collaborate with marketing, estimating, operations, project management, and other internal teams to support successful customer engagement and project delivery.
