Business Analyst III

For roles that are 100% remote or hybrid, you must have access to a reliable high-speed internet connection to support daily job responsibilities. A minimum bandwidth of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required. Those fully remote associates residing in states where service is required by contract, law, or regulation will be allowed to submit for reimbursement.

Role Overview 

The PMO Business Analyst III serves as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, leading requirements elicitation, business process analysis, and documentation efforts to translate complex business needs into actionable solutions that support Growth, FFG, and enterprise strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, operational leaders, project managers, and technology teams for Medicare, Medicaid, Exchange, and strategic expansion initiatives
• Lead business requirements elicitation sessions, workshops, interviews, and stakeholder discussions to identify and document business needs, processes, risks, assumptions, and dependencies
• Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, use cases, business rules, and related analysis artifacts to support project delivery
• Partner with business owners and subject matter experts to validate requirements, resolve open questions, establish priorities, and obtain formal approvals
• Analyze current-state and future-state business processes and recommend opportunities to improve operational efficiency, scalability, compliance, and stakeholder experience
• Facilitate cross-functional workgroup sessions and collaborate with project management, operations, clinical, product, vendor, and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Translate complex business objectives into clearly documented requirements that can be understood and executed by technical and operational teams
• Support impact assessments for new products, market expansions, regulatory changes, mergers, acquisitions, vendor transitions, and strategic growth initiatives
• Maintain requirements traceability and ensure alignment between business objectives, project scope, and delivered solutions
• Assist with change request analysis, issue resolution, risk identification, and decision support activities
• Support solution reviews, user acceptance testing preparation, stakeholder readiness activities, and implementation planning as needed
• Ensure all requirements, business processes, and supporting documentation remain current, accurate, and aligned with organizational standards
• Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor throughout project planning and execution
• Maintain awareness of Growth and FFG business priorities, strategic initiatives, regulatory requirements, and operational impacts across lines of business

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• At least five (5)+ years of business analysis experience supporting cross-functional business and technology initiatives
• Demonstrated experience leading requirements elicitation sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Experience creating BRDs, business process flows, business rules, use cases, stakeholder analysis, and related documentation
• Experience facilitating meetings and driving consensus among diverse stakeholder groups
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication and presentation skills
• Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
   

Other Skills

• Working knowledge of healthcare payer operations, including Medicare, Medicaid, Exchange, LTSS, Population Health, Care Management, Network Management, Claims, Enrollment, or Utilization Management
• Experience working with business and technical teams to understand system capabilities, data flows, integrations, and solution impacts
• Familiarity with systems such as Facets, Jiva, Appian, Salesforce, CRM platforms, SharePoint, Power Platform, Blueprint, or related healthcare applications

• Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements or partner effectively with Business Systems Analysts and technical team
