Join us as a Brand & Content Marketing Lead for our Digital Experience group and help us do what we do best: propelling business forward.  This will be a remote role working out of your home office in the United States but due to being on a global team, we need folks to be in CST or EST area realistically.

We're looking for a strategic storyteller, content leader and community builder to help shape how audiences discover, trust and advocate for products within our Digital Experience portfolio.

As AI transforms how people research and evaluate technology, influence increasingly comes from trusted voices, communities, customers, creators, and AI-powered discovery experiences.
In this role, you'll drive awareness through compelling content, thought leadership, customer advocacy, influencer relationships and community engagement. You'll help establish as a trusted voice with the Digital Experience space while increasing visibility across traditional and emerging discovery channels.

In addition, you will also: 

Content Strategy, Storytelling & Market Narrative

  • Lead the development of content and storytelling programs that strengthen awareness, engagement and market perception for products within the Digital Experience portfolio.
  • Serve as both strategist and creator, personally developing key thought leadership while driving cross-functional teams to create and publish high-impact content—including thought leadership, customer stories, blogs, executive content, webinars, and videos.
  • Help shape and evolve the market narrative, messaging and brand voice across content, community, influencer, and advocacy initiatives.
  • Define and execute a content and editorial strategy aligned with business goals, product priorities and audience needs.
  • Serve as both strategist and creator, developing and overseeing high-impact content across multiple formats including thought leadership, customer stories, blogs, executive content, webinars, videos, social content and educational resources.
  • Develop compelling narratives that connect customer challenges, industry trends, product innovation, customer success and community voices to strengthen awareness, engagement and market perception.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and other stakeholders to translate product capabilities, market insights, and customer perspectives into content that resonates with practitioners and decision-makers.
  • Measure performance, optimize for business impact, and experiment with emerging formats, channels and AI-assisted content experiences.

 
Community, Advocacy & Customer Engagement

  • Build programs that empower customers, practitioners and partners to become advocates for our brands.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and practitioners to better understand their challenges, capture feedback, and uncover opportunities for storytelling, advocacy and product insight.
  • Partner with customers to identify, develop, and amplify success stories, thought leadership, and real-world experiences across content, events and community initiatives.
  • Actively participate in relevant industry, practitioner, and customer communities, engaging as a trusted and authentic contributor rather than a traditional marketer.
  • Foster meaningful conversations and connections that strengthen relationships, build credibility, and increase engagement within the communities where our audiences spend their time.

 Influencer & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Develop relationships with influencers, media and industry experts who shape conversations in our markets.
  • Build and manage influencer and creator engagement programs that expand awareness and credibility 
  • Cultivate relationships with trusted voices across relevant industries and communities 
  • Collaborate with influencers and subject matter experts on content, events, webinars, podcasts, and thought leadership initiatives 
  • Identify emerging voices, trends, and opportunities that strengthen market presence and influence

 AI-Era Awareness & Discovery

  • Help position our brands for success as discovery increasingly shifts toward AI-powered experiences, community-driven recommendations and emerging search behaviors.
  • Monitor shifts in search behavior, content consumption, and AI-assisted discovery 
  • Develop content and engagement strategies that improve visibility across search, AI platforms, and community-driven channels 
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen authority, trust, and discoverability through expert content, advocacy, and community participation 
  • Experiment with emerging technologies and approaches that help Progress stay ahead of evolving buyer behavior

Your background: 

  • 7+ years of experience in content marketing, community marketing, advocacy, influencer marketing or product marketing 
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing and editorial skills with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into engaging narratives 
  • Experience building and scaling content programs that drive awareness, engagement and business impact 
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence across customers, creators, partners, and internal stakeholders 
  • Strong relationship-building skills and experience engaging customers, influencers, media, partners and industry experts 
  • Understanding of how audiences discover and evaluate technology in modern digital and AI-powered environments 
  • Experience using or experimenting with AI-powered tools, agents and automated workflows to improve content creation, research, audience engagement and operational efficiency, or a strong willingness to learn and adopt emerging technologies.
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, technology, or digital experience markets 
  • Curiosity and a fierce spirit of experimentation

Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have: 

  • Experience with AI-driven content strategy, search visibility, or emerging discovery channels 
  • Experience supporting product launches and integrated go-to-market programs 
  • Familiarity with community-led growth, creator marketing, and ecosystem development strategies 
  • Experience working with CMS, collaboration, document management, developer or digital experience technologies

Base Salary Range: $140,125 - $173,250
This position is also eligible to participate in our performance-based annual corporate bonus plan.  Final base compensation is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, education, demonstrable experience, and allowance for future and continued salary growth.
