Marketing Content Manager
Position Summary
Hydra Host is hiring a Marketing Content Manager to create clear, accurate content that supports our brand, educates customers, and drives growth. This role turns complex GPU based AI infrastructure and networking technology into content that works for engineers, investors, and executives alike.
This is a hybrid writer/systems role. Beyond producing content, this person owns how content lives, moves, and gets found across the company: intake, review, approval, publishing, version control, and archiving. The right candidate wants to build a scalable content operation, not just produce deliverables one at a time.
Essential Responsibilities
- Write across formats: blog posts, white papers, case studies, website copy, sales enablement materials, email campaigns, social content, and video scripts.
- Produce customer-facing documentation: implementation guides, user manuals, knowledge base articles, FAQs, deployment guides, and troubleshooting content.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Sales, Operations, and Leadership to turn technical detail into content that works for both technical and business audiences.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice, messaging, and documentation standards across all content.
- Manage editorial calendars and publishing schedules.
- Optimize content for SEO and audience engagement.
- Support product launches, webinars, conferences, and customer events with the content they need.
- Leverage AI tools for content scale, not thought leadership.
Content Lifecycle & Asset Management
Hydra Host needs one owner for how content and assets are created, stored, found, and retired.
- Own the content lifecycle end to end: intake, drafting, review, approval, publishing, updates, and retirement.
- Design and maintain a content management process for organizing marketing and sales assets so they are easy to find, current, and properly versioned.
- Set naming conventions, folder structures, and version control standards across content repositories (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Notion).
- Maintain a single source of truth for content status — in production, in review, published, or archived.
- Audit content on a regular cadence, flag outdated materials, and retire or refresh them.
- Document a repeatable process for how content gets requested, produced, approved, and delivered, so the system holds up as the team grows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Technical Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years creating content for B2B technology companies.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to make technical concepts clear and engaging.
- Strong interviewing and information-gathering skills when working with engineers and subject matter experts.
- Experience building or improving a content management process, taxonomy, or asset organization system.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; able to work independently across shifting priorities in a rapidly growing company.
Preferred Technical Familiarity
AI infrastructure, NVIDIA GPU technologies, cloud computing, bare metal infrastructure, data center operations
Tools
Microsoft Office and Teams/SharePoint, HubSpot, Adobe. Comfort with AI-assisted writing and research tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Grammarly), including the judgment to edit and validate AI-generated content for accuracy, consistency, and brand voice.
Success Measures
- Growth in inbound leads and website engagement; improved SEO performance.
- Timely delivery of high-quality marketing and technical content.
- A documented, repeatable content lifecycle process adopted across the marketing team.
- Faster time to locate, reuse, and update existing assets.
- Increased utilization of sales enablement materials and improved customer onboarding through effective documentation.
- Reduction in support requests due to stronger knowledge base content.
