Job Description

Bone Access & DMAB Patient Experience Lead, Marketing Senior Manager

Bone Patient Experience & Access Marketing Team | Patient Access & Reimbursement (PAR)

What you will do

Let's do this.  Let's change the world.

In this vital role, you will join Amgen's Bone Patient Experience team, reporting to the Director of Bone Patient Experience and Access Marketing within Patient Access & Reimbursement (PAR).  You will lead access marketing strategy, field enablement and fulfillment pathway optimization initiatives across the Bone portfolio, including owning the denosumab (DMAB), Prolia and Xgeva, patient and healthcare provider (HCP) solutions that improve the access experience.

As a key member of the Patient Experience team, you will serve as a strategic access marketing partner to Brand, Sales, Market Access, and PAR Centers of Excellence (COEs).  You will help shape the patient and provider access journey, anticipate barriers, and translate business priorities into strategies and solutions that leverage shared PAR capabilities to improve access and the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

·        Access Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership: Lead access marketing strategy and tactical planning for DMAB, proactively identifying payer, competitive, and patient journey barriers.  Partner with Brand and PAR teams to shape priorities and develop solutions that improve access, therapy initiation, and continuity of care.

·        Access Tools & Innovation: Lead the development, evaluation, and optimization of access tools across the Bone portfolio, including the Bone Therapy Finder sites, coverage resources, and digital solutions that help our field teams and providers navigate access and reimbursement.

·        Field Enablement & Access Messaging: Develop clear, compliant access messaging, educational resources, and field communications for Sales, Key Account Managers (KAMs), and Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs).  Support teams in navigating coverage changes, biosimilar competition, and evolving reimbursement dynamics.

·        Patient Support & Field Insights: Partner with PAR capability teams to optimize field reporting, alerts, and insights from Amgen SupportPlus.  Ensure field teams and patient support channels have consistent messaging and resources to address access questions and barriers.

·        Cross-Functional Strategy & Capability Integration: Partner with Brand, Market Access, Sales, Analytics, and PAR COEs to define business needs, prioritize opportunities, and integrate shared capabilities into brand access strategies.  Bring cross-functional expertise into planning early to develop scalable solutions that address patient and provider needs.

·        Program Performance & Continuous Improvement: Define success measures and evaluate the impact of access marketing programs and capabilities on the patient and provider journey.  Leverage analytics, market research, and field insights to identify barriers, inform strategic recommendations, and continuously improve the access experience.

·        Marketing Leadership & Agency Management: Lead the development and approval of access marketing materials in partnership with Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance teams.  Manage agency partners, project budgets, and execution of key initiatives to deliver high-quality outcomes.
