Job Description
Reporting to the Director of B2B Marketing, we’re looking for a creative, execution-oriented B2B Marketing & Events Specialist to help drive our marketing programs, events, and overall market presence.
In this role, you’ll develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns designed to engage key accounts, generate pipeline, and support revenue growth. You’ll work closely with Sales to align marketing initiatives with business priorities, support account-based marketing (ABM) and events efforts, and create experiences that move prospects through the buyer journey.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys turning ideas into action, managing multiple projects, and working cross-functionally to deliver measurable marketing results.
Responsibilities:
B2B Marketing
- Support the execution of B2B marketing programs and campaigns, including content creation tailored to key buyer personas.
- Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives and engage target accounts, including coordinating customized marketing campaigns and materials and tracking campaign activities, deliverables, timelines, and performance to ensure programs stay on track.
- Support the development, organization, and ongoing maintenance of marketing collateral and sales enablement materials.
Events & Marketing Programs
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure events align with broader sales, marketing, and business objectives.
- Own the events strategy and planning process, including identifying and researching priority conferences, evaluating opportunities to reach target audiences, and recommending the appropriate marketing and sales presence.
- Manage event vendors and relationships, budgets, timelines, and logistics, working closely with leadership and internal stakeholders to evaluate and approve event opportunities.
- Manage end-to-end event execution, including hotel bookings, vendor coordination, communications, promotional activities, booth materials, speaker applications, panelist outreach and coordination, and leadership presentations.
- Own pre- and post-event planning, campaigns, and follow-up activities while collaborating with Sales to maximize engagement and pipeline opportunities.
- Manage event data and follow-up activities in HubSpot, including pulling attendee lists, creating tasks, updating records, and coordinating outreach.
Marketing Assets & Project Management
- Project manage marketing and content initiatives from concept through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to transform complex product and business concepts into clear, compelling content.
- Support the creation of product videos, scripts, presentations, and other multimedia content, including translating product concepts into engaging video scripts and coordinating the production process.
- Manage project timelines, reviews, approvals, feedback, and revisions across multiple content initiatives.
- Ensure all marketing content is accurate, consistent, on-brand, and delivered according to schedule.
- Partner with Sales to create and manage digital data rooms for prospects and active opportunities.
- Maintain an organized, up-to-date library of marketing assets and ensure materials are easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate the weekly review and distribution of new LinkedIn posts and blog content.
- Coordinate podcast production and publishing, including managing Buzzsprout setup and publishing requirements.
- Schedule and manage blog posts, email campaigns, and other marketing communications.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience within SaaS/Tech, with at least 2 years focused on events, conferences, and trade shows
- Must have an execution oriented mindset and strong project management and communication skills. You have a strong understanding of the B2B buyer’s journey, especially in complex, enterprise-level sales cycles, and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and support internal stakeholders with what they need to close the deal.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment between Marketing and Sales.
- Must have hands-on experience and strong knowledge of marketing automation tools, including Hubspot and Demandbase.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to look at the numbers to pull meaningful insights and make recommendations on how to improve.
- Creativity and innovation in developing personalized, engaging marketing experiences and proficiency in developing visually compelling client-facing presentations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently, be proactive and a self-starter with excellent teamwork skills.
- A high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity with the ability to quickly change focus, overcome obstacles, and balance the needs of the moment with longer-term goals
- This is a remote role, must be willing to travel and ideally be close to a major airport
- Experience working within health insurance with carriers and health plans preferred but not required
