About Company: Our client is a specialized B2B financial technology platform that serves as a centralized "Spend OS" (Spend Operating System) for modern African businesses, startups, and marketing agencies.

The B2B Community Manager will be responsible for building, growing, and engaging the company's business community. This role focuses on creating meaningful relationships with

business customers, founders, SMEs, startups, finance teams, agencies, and strategic partners while driving product adoption, customer retention, and advocacy.

 

The ideal candidate understands that community is more than social media—it is about creating an ecosystem where businesses learn, collaborate, and grow with the company's products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

§  Develop and execute the company's B2B community strategy.

§  Build and grow engaged communities across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Slack, Telegram, and other relevant channels.

§  Create initiatives that increase customer engagement, retention, and advocacy.

§  Plan and execute webinars, networking events, workshops, and community meetups.

§  Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to improve customer experience and drive adoption.

§  Gather customer feedback and community insights to influence product improvements.

§  Identify and nurture ambassadors, partners, and power users within the community.

§  Track community growth, engagement, and business impact through relevant KPIs.

Represent the company at business events, conferences, and ecosystem gatherings

Requirements

Experience:

§  1-3 years of experience in Community Management.

§  Fintech experience is a plus.

§  Proven experience building and managing professional or business communities.

§  Experience working with startups, SMEs, or enterprise customers.

 

Qualifications:

§  Community management, marketing, or customer success certifications are an added

§  advantage.

 

The client is looking for someone who:

§  Has built or managed a thriving B2B or professional community with measurable outcomes.

§  Can demonstrate community growth through metrics such as member acquisition, engagement, retention, event participation, or product adoption.

§  Has experience collaborating with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to translate community feedback into business growth.

§  Is comfortable hosting events, moderating discussions, and representing the company publicly.

§  Understands the Nigerian startup and fintech ecosystem and can build meaningful relationships.

§  Is highly proactive, commercially aware, and passionate about creating communities that drive customer success and business growth.
