Job Summary

Responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing automation solutions that enhance efficiency, data quality, and internal controls across Finance, Accounting, and Shared Services functions. Partner closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to automate processes, support system integrations and data conversions, and deliver scalable reporting, workflow, and analytics solutions that drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Supports customer, vendor, and financial data integrations, conversions, and system migrations.

• Identifies and implements automation opportunities across Finance and Accounting processes.

• Partners with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into automation solutions.

• Develops dashboards, workflows, and reporting tools that improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

• Performs testing, deployment, documentation, and user training for automation solutions.

• Ensures solutions align with internal controls, audit requirements, and governance standards.

• Serves as a subject matter expert for finance automation tools and reporting solutions.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Nature and Scope

• Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.

• Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.

• May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.

Work Environment

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Conditions could produce mild discomfort on occasion.

• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

• Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.

Education and Experience

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience with Power Platform, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, Databricks, or similar technologies.

• Experience supporting Finance, Accounting, ERP implementations, or data conversion projects is preferred.

• Experience in automation, business systems (Oracle EBS), data analytics, or process improvement.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
