Associate Attorney – General LiabilityLocation - Houston, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio

Our Sugar Land office is seeking a litigation-minded Associate Attorney to help defend a broad portfolio of general liability matters. If you thrive on building cases from the ground up and want real courtroom exposure early in your career, this is a chance to do meaningful work alongside experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative, in-person environment.

Open to Remote candidates in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio! 

Responsibilities:

You will manage your own docket of general liability files from intake through resolution—developing case strategy, drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, and preparing matters for mediation and trial. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with senior partners, you'll have consistent client contact and room to sharpen your judgment on increasingly complex disputes. Premises liability, bodily injury, and property damage claims will make up much of your work.

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 3 years of civil litigation experience, ideally in general liability or defense work.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas.
• Comfortable managing a docket independently while collaborating with a trial team.
